Well yeah, obviously. But to be denied service for discriminatory reasons is backwards and there isn't any reason for it. No matter how you spin it.

It would be unconstitutional for the government to force a religious leader to do something that goes against their religious values. I hear this argument all the time, and it is without merit.

I'm asking because I don't know but the way you phrased this was that religious leaders get protection from doing things against their religious values but the common man does not?

If that is the case, is it this way to protect from people jumping from religion to religion and making religions to get out of doing things and religious leaders are more trustworthy?

It's all fricking stupid and childish.

As a nation we are currently making laws so that all sorts of people don't get their fricking feelings hurt, and the shite changes daily to accommodate what outcome we want for each individual situation.

when you are a business owner, you are bound by certain federal discrimination laws. churches are not businesses

You are still talking in opinions as if they are facts and denying other peoples opinions as wrong. That is intolerant. Regardless of what those opinions are.

Lying is backwards and there isn't any reason for it, no matter how you spin it. We should outlaw lying then? Government is here to protect rights, not to legislate morality.

There is nothing good that will come from denying service to ANYONE for their life choices, no matter what they are. The fact that you can't see that is further testament to how backwards Mississippi is.

Maybe people should just...you know...treat people equally just because it's the right thing to do not because the government forces them

No it's not? I didn't see anything in the law that told people not to be gay… I guess I could've missed it.

When this lands in the laps of the SCOTUS (and it will), I think you're going to be pretty upset with how this law is interpreted and struck

So it is impossible for laws to be unjust or to violate rights? In this case, property rights

At no point does it say sexual orientation. Civil rights =/= LGBT rights. They are not the same.

Transgender Law Center sent a letter to Horry County Schools warning that the district would face legal action unless they act immediately to ensure transgender students are able to use the restroom that matches the gender they live as every day. Transgender Law Center is representing a high school senior and transgender boy, R., who had been using the boys’ bathroom without incident until Socastee High School suddenly banned him from the boys’ bathroom in his senior year. “All of the kids at that school knew and accepted my son for the boy he is, and for the school to suddenly single him out from the other boys and force him to use the girls’ bathroom was devastating,” said Lynne, R.’s mother. “He was harassed and discriminated against by the very people responsible for his education, and as a result they put his health at risk and took away his opportunity to finish senior year at school with his friends.”
