You are questioning his arm right!!!
C'mon bro. Everyone knows passing yardage is directly proportional to arm strength.
71 yards for Harris because he has a noodle arm.
400+ for Brandon Allen because he's Joe Flacco 2.0
ETA: It's also why Matt Stafford is one of the best ever and Peyton Manning is an also ran.

They, like you are only responding to what the media quoted him as saying. Had they reported the whole quote, the responses would have been different. Except from you....

What's he supposed to say?
How about he is a very good back and we look forward to the challenge of playing him?

I suspect this is what LSU needed. Otherwise they were going to get beat. Man, what a mistake by Jonathan.

It's not even about giving LSU extra motivation. It just makes a player look stupid and classless to say stupid crap like that. He knows good and well it's not going to be easy to stop LF on Saturday afternoon. Yes it could happen, but it won't be easy and saying it will be easy is just an idiotic thing to say.

Not that you care, but you took his mistaken quote out of the context it is mistakenly cast in.

Yes these comments are soooooo classless...
quote:
"The challenge is stopping No. 7," Ford said. "We have to get ready. It's going to be a big, physical game, get ready for pounding and that's what we're going to get ready for."
"That shouldn't be difficult, that much, of a challenge," Auburn safety Rudy Ford said. "We've got a great front seven and even on the back end we're all going to be ready to tackle, but our biggest thing is our energy level. As soon as we get off that bus, we're ready to tackle. Don't take anything lightly. We all have to be ready to go."
How dare he have faith that his team is up to the challenge of facing an opponent. Shoulda showed some class and said "He's gonna rape us, I don't even know why we are playing"

In order to conserve space, the conference should have McElwain yell at Rudy, so we can combine these topics that are only tangentially related to football.

That's just flat out unsportsmanlike.

I am sure his coaches told him to STFU. With that said any team can stop the run if they commit enough players to it. The question will be if LSU can pass effectively enough to keep auburn honest. The answer is nobody knows. Glad its in Tiger Stadium.
Miss St committed the entire population of Mississippi and he still ran for 159 and 3 TDs. Auburn can commit all of Alabama and Georgia, and it still wouldn't matter. That game reminded me of Melvin Gordon last year. When he wasn't hurt, you just hoped you'd hold him to 100 yards and only 1 TD.

yea, then he said this....

"It shouldn't be that difficult."
not sure what "context" you're talking about there. All he did was say what they needed to do, then said it wouldn't be hard.
Rudy should have kept his mouth shut. Bug, meet windshield.
