Lexington, Nashville, Fayeteville and Knoxville are all better than Oxford. And it's not even close for Nashville.

I feel ya. You just have to know where to go in Nashville for the college feel. It ain't Broadway.

Baton Rouge is probably the only city in the US where people have been robbed at Whole Foods and TJ

Actually it isnt. It's the opposite. Just saying.

Would not shock me if it happened. I lived in Baton Rouge for 4 years, even the nice areas sees trouble. It's a shame.

Boulder is in the conversation as well.
I live in Boulder. We're so cool, we have multiple independent overpriced organic stores, and didn't let Wal-Mart build a supercenter.
But in all reality, enjoy your whole foods.

Whole foods is for house moms who already sent the kids to college
Scam artists

Athens is #1 by a mile. Horrible list.

The only stuff I buy at places like Whole Foods are specific meats and some spices. Everything else is phony health overpriced horse shite.

Yep. They do bake good bread, and a good beer selection. But since they don't allow grocery stores to sell full strength beer in Colorado, that place can go frick itself.
Costco, ftw
Costco, ftw

Yes there's a lot of crime but it's easy to exaggerate about it. I've lived in Baton Rouge for practically my entire 21 years of existence and never have had a single incident. Never have had to call the police on somebody never witnessed someone getting robbed or any of that shite. It's really not bad, youre probably just racist. I find that's the root for most people's complaints because like 9 times out of 10 it's a black dude.

Costco for foods, wines and beer. And gas. And random fleeces. And big boxes of Cliff bars.

Baton Rouge has both.

The krogers here in Nashville have awesome beer selection. I think they're trying to cater to the hipster influx.

Racists, no. I taught in Glen Oaks Middle. My in laws lived in/near Terra, and was robbed. Like I said, it's a shame.
