Any town in the SEC has a Lucky's Market. If not, sit your asses down.

You can thank the Great State of Texas for Whole Foods.

But really, Central Market is much better than whole foods.

I have a Whole Foods 1 mile down the street. Other than Bison meat it sucks.

Just to put things in perspective, Montgomery, AL, the rectum of the entire Southeast had an Earth Fare and is getting a Whole Foods. In other words, it's a cool thing to have a Whole Foods but when Montgomery gets one you begin to wonder how picky they really are.

All true.

I don't think I ever want to live somewhere with the population density required to support a Central Market, though.

They are pretty awesome.

Comparing Nashville to other SEC towns is like comparing a 3 Series to Korean mid size sedans

They've really lowered the bar on Whole Foods though, it's lost its prestige. It used to be a happy hunting ground for MILFs and now every hood in Houston has one

Central Market is the fricking bomb, I could spend an entire Sunday in there just snacking on artisan bread samples and listening to live music

The flagship Whole Foods in downtown Austin is pretty sweet though

But it has an SEC school in it, so you can't just remove it for ranking purposes. Nashville wasn't all that great until the last decade or so. Maybe half decade.

Whole foods is overrated as frick

SEC towns ranked

It's Athens #1 and it always has been. You piggly sacks of shite wish you could match our reputation for being the best college town in America. You will never touch what we have. Shame on you for even trying. Just plan your trip to Athens into your calendar and be thankful you get to share a conference with us so that you have the opportunity to visit.

Nashville shits on Athens. Although out of the true college towns, if we are taking that route, Athens is better than any other college town I've been to besides Madison WI.

It's funny, you tried to list the best college towns, but you ended up listing the worst.

Add Gainesville and Starkville for complete accuracy.

True, I'm just saying it's in a class by itself and kind of needs to be separated out from the rest

I always knew I was going to live in a city like Houston or Dallas with shite like Whole Foods and cupcake ATMs so I enjoyed spending four years in a place like College Station with a small town feel. Just my two cents and everyone is different, I've had a good time in every SEC town I've been to so far
