The basketball tournament should be in Atlanta too.

Wish they'd play it at Philips when it is here like the ACC does. That was an insane atmosphere. Philips is a really good basketball arena, it is just unknown because all the big NCAA games are at the Dome and the Hawks are the Hawks.

Agree. Way too many nice minor league stadiums in the Southeast to play it at Hoover.

Heck Birmingham has a great minor league stadium.

I wouldn't be opposed to it being in Birmingham every year atleast then it would be in a nice stadium, however that would make it bland. My buddies and I didn't make the trip in 2012 because we were saving our money to go to Omaha and well FREAK YOU STONY BROOK!

I would love to have it here. Baseball and the beach

Just imagine the Ole Miss and UGA babes sun tanning

I still get chills thinking about the first SECCG. Dang it was cold.

Yeah, me too, but Legion Field is NOT the place.

Nobody wants to go to Jerry World or St Louis for an SECCG. Imagine a Florida-Auburn game in St Louis. Would be 1/3 full

Agree, probably best to leave it alone.

Totally agree. Pensacola is incredible. The stadium is down there next to all the restaurants and things downtown, half the conference has places in Perdido/Orange Beach/Gulf Shores anyway. Would be awesome.

i think we could work out a contract with them. play the games at different times.

It would likely have to be different days, and you know the SEC won't play on a day other than Saturday. And with the difficulties the ACC has had with attendance, doubt they want to do a Thursday, or Friday night.

Except for the fact that it's down to only seating like 35,000 people now and is a hell hole.

well obviously the key there is to shut down UAB football, and use the money savings to create a worthy venue.

Atlanta might take the ACC but my guess is they'd tell the SEC and the ACC to take a hike, find something else that weekend and double down on the CFB and National Championship games.

Either way, Atlanta is never letting the SECCG leave. It just isn't going to happen. And if it does it is going to be really, really messy.

Let's just play it in Tallahassee so we can have an excuse to burn the FSU campus down and the city of Tallahassee as a whole.

It needs to stay in Atlanta and never leave.
