Yea, and I don't want it in New Orleans, anyways. I feel it could hurt the economic impact of the Sugar. A fan base, likely is not gonna want to travel to the same city, twice in a month. With the exception of people that are OT rich, and even then, the stays wouldn't be as long.

Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium in Jackson, MS for the win.

Jackson is state capital of the epicenter of the earthquake that shook the NCAA and SEC football world this year: tLandmass.

I'm curious to see how the new format works in general economically for folks who have to travel long distances for all 3 games. Luckily this year if an SEC team is #1 or #2 they will probably get their playoff games in New Orleans and then Dallas to go along with Atlanta, which is not too tough a stretch travel wise.

But somebody like Oregon? Pac12 in SanFran, Round 1 in Los Angeles, Round 2 in Dallas.

Yeesh.

Not if their team wins. If bama won the sec title game in Nola. I would be like hell yeah. Let's go back and whip some more arse.

Let the highest ranked team in the CG host the game. That works great for other conferences.

I like it in Atlanta, but if you're solely focused on distance from each SEC school, the only average sized city that makes sense is Memphis. It's roughly 8 hours away from College Station TX and 8 hours away from Columbia SC. Every other school is less than 8 hours away.

I've never been to Memphis, but it looks like a dump though.

The minute you move it out of Atlanta the ACC is going to come in and sign a long term deal with the new stadium to have their championshio there.

Why move it to the Super Dome when in some years the winner or most years the loser would have to play there two games in a row. The championship game then the Sugar Bowl. It works great in Atlanta, leave it alone.

Isn't Atlanta in the Championship series rotation? Won't be in NOLA every year.

Yes, the Peach Bowl is in the rotation.

And, Atlanta is going to get one of the National Championship games in the 2018 or 2020 season.

I stay in Downtown Decatur, catch the MARTA a block from the hotel, go to game, get back and go to places like Brick Store Pub with their Belgium Beer Bar.

I love a few miles north of Downtown Decatur. Hidden gem, especially to folks not from the area. And on top of that it's the easiest MARTA commute back because everyone is trying to get north.

Liberty Bowl. Most central location geographically possible.

Yea, but in years the Sugar bowl isnt a playoff game it still has a tie-in to the SEC where the winner goes to it or the 2nd place team if thier in the playoffs.

Move it to inside the Hoover mall once they finish renovating it. Won't be a bad seat in the house.

When not hosting the semifinals of the new CFP system once every three years, the Sugar Bowl features the winner of the Southeastern Conference Championship Game and the Big 12 Conference champion.

And why would you need more than one airport? ATL is easy and efficient and it's like 10 miles from the Dome.
And since it's usually a semi-business, short notice kind of a deal for a lotta people you can fly into Hartsfield on Thur/Fri. leave on Sun. & never need a car. You can jump on MARTA at the airport, access all the Downtown, Midtown, Buckhead & N. Fulton hotels, the Dome & all the major attractions in the Downtown area. Often it's only 7 days before you know for sure your attending & Atlanta & it's airport can cover the sudden influx of people & traffic without price gouging folks making plans on short notice. Like it or not Atlanta is the best spot available, logistics wise, attraction wise & entertainment wise...

I will base my answer on the answer of one question. Is the Cheetah still in business?
