Probably Kentucky.

Additionally, I'm fairly certain MU is the only program that has to schedule home football games around the dates that hunting season begins. A large chunk of our fans like to hunt things over football...

Given history, both of y'all would stay neutral, no balls for the fighting.

LSU and A&M would team up in a heartbeat. I don't see any scenario where those two aren't on the same side.

I would also see Miss. St. joining up with LSU and A&M, because the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

But I'm going to step up here and suggest a surprise ally for LSU. One you may not expect: Florida. I could see LSU reaching out to geographically-isolated Florida to put pressure on the state of Alabama from the south and east. The SEC's passion for pairing LSU and Florida against each other over the years has only created a mutual respect for one another and created closer ties and commonality.

Allies - LSU, the tLandmass schools and Bama

You'd be surrounded before you even start the fight.

I'll take winter as our ally, seeing how one inch of snow shut the whole South down this year.

after the LSU/A&M alliance takes over, we cut off O&G to the north, turning your frosty alliance into your worst nightmare.

I don't understand this thread.

Are you forming an army with other fan bases and actually waging hand to hand and firearm combat in some neutral location?

That was an epic offseason thread.
It's only natural that it gets re-used.

From a tactical standpoint? For Bama I would take Texas A&M, Tennessee and Florida. Own the Gulf for pure naval superiority, and our primary border threat - Georgia - now has a fight on two fronts. LSU would be locked in a losing war with A&M, while Mississippi is no threat. With their southern borders covered, Tennessee easily overtakes Kentucky. USC would be one of the final strongholds, but even the wily machinations of their great general would fall to such an onslaught. Auburn is already surrounded.

In football? Auburn, LSU and Texas A&M. If we're really talking "alliances", those three have a shared history with us (one by blood - state families often have both Alabama and Auburn fans) and two by shared leadership (Stallings, Fran, and Saban). Now, if we're talking geography, then Mississippi State, Auburn, Ole Miss, and I think LSU.

If we're talking mutual respect, there is none in the SEC. Quit smoking whatever you brought to the party.
