Florida. We can seize the panhandle and the Alabama/Mississippi coastline and own the gulf.

Perfect. Own the Gulf and the river. War over. We got this.

You can't put Richt on the bad guy team. He will not turn to the dark side of the force!

LSU and A&M will no doubt team up immediately. 2 military schools with no other teams to our west or south, dominate the oil, the mississippi river, and most of the gulf. Plus a major city in Houston is mostly A&M/LSU allegiance already.

Knowing that other schools are unlikely to join the same side:
Auburn-UGA
Bama-UT
UGA/UT-UF
UT-UK/Vandy

LSU and A&M do one of the following 2 things:
1) Establish an alliance with UF to sure up the gulf and establish an eastern presence that will be easy to access via ships/gulfcoast
2) Look to form alliances with mutual enemies such as Auburn, Bama, Ole Miss and cause them to form 2 fronts. This would include an alliance with UGA and UT.

Also in both options I think we look to get MSU to form a base closer to the action, defeat a mutual enemy (ole miss/Bama), and gain complete river dominance.

Teaming up with Aggie sounds great and all - military history and - until you realize their highest ranking officer is a fricking collie. You're looking for leadership, and your commanding officer is licking his balls.

Instead of going to battle, you sit around and do this kind of stuff all day:
