The Jesus of Nazareth miniseries from 1977 is still the best full depiction of His life, in my opinion. All-star cast. Beautifully directed. Well-written. Robert Powell is fantastic as Jesus.
Amazon Prime. I paid like $3.99 to own it back in December. ...

Hell, I would just be happy that my students wrote an email that was coherent, with a proper salutation line, no less. ...

Dollywood has some legit rollercoasters. I was shocked when I went. I thought it was going to be kind of lame. Uh… that park goes waaaaaay harder than I thought!...

This week’s episode has a great scene that plays off of the criticism the show takes for the time between seasons. It’s really funny. You’ll know it when you see it. ...

I love it when the media defends each other when there are zero ramifications for it, but when someone like Kiran Chawla gets hung out to dry by actual elected officials in power, a supporting voice can barely be found. Typical cowards. ...

People love to hammer the LSU Lazy River… but calling out LSU for being needlessly expensive to students is more than a bit disingenuous. The truth is LSU is pretty cheap compared to most universities and TOPS covers a large portion of students.
Lumping LSU in with schools that charge exorbitant...

College instructors and professors definitely should have the option to carry. They only deal with adults, and their environment is also dangerous at times. ...

Kraken blew a 2 goal lead in the 3rd with 16 seconds left in the game. The Knights win it in overtime 5-4. Total nutpunch game for the Kraken.
Now that the Kraken’s playoff hopes have pretty much been given the death blow, I’ll give a quick post-mortem on their season: their talent level is belo...

re: Can skiing solve its diversity problem?

Okay, so skiing isn’t the most diverse scene in the world. But who’s complaining?
This is a problem with no victims. No one cares, other than this one group that assembled to justify its existence.
White people don’t care. Black people don’t care. Why is this a thing? ...

I can’t wait for the indigenous peoples’ statement before the opening ceremony in Paris, acknowledging the land they are competing on was originally the home of the Gauls.

So… I don’t know you or what you’re studying, but I do know that if you love a subject, you won’t mind studying it because it feels natural, regardless of age. I’m ancient. I know. But if you don’t love it… it just sounds a lot like what’s happening here.
Maybe think about the topic area. Is the...

re: Here we go again with Caitlin Clark breaking Pistol Pete’s record

I’m all for this notion. No distinction between men’s and women’s records. Clark owns the basketball scoring record.
That also means 90% (or more) of all sports records now belong to men. No distinctions between the sexes means it applies to everything. Not just the basketball scoring record. Th...
