Can't vouch for the accuracy or methodology of this, but it jibes pretty accurately with my experience:

It's at least 2.5:1 Bama; much greater in some areas.
In the most pro-Auburn areas (basically Auburn and surrounding locales), it's about 3:1 Auburn
In the most pro-Bama areas, it's 5:1 or higher.

Bama's record enrollment and record academic metrics are a result of record (Nationally) amount of Out of State Students. UAT is now the University of Phoenix of public institutions. The infrastructure of and upkeep of that infrastructure are on generations of Alabama taxpayers. To get the OOS they are offering a record amount of financial aid and to offset those other expenses, they are increasing instate tuition. The residence of Alabama are getting priced out of a College Education due to the ego of a few to be bigger. The fear by some is that it is a house of cards.
AU was under investigation because of the actions of a few on the BOTs. Look closely at the UAT BOT and its relationship with Bear Jr.
The Gov issues are going to come to roost on UA.

Your ignorance about the reality of what is going on in Alabama is beyond arguing. No hatred toward the UA, any taxpayer that doesn't want success of any institution in the State probably only passed a University classroom on Saturdays while looking for a place to take a piss.
