Again, for all the "they're out to get us" folks, this is hard to ignore.

This isn't something new that the NCAA just pulled out their arse. It happened to LSU basketball in the 90's. Lester Earl ring a bell?

Vandy is the real winner here. East plus annual game vs neutered Ole Miss. Jealous.

Hell it just happened with the Louisville situation. They interviewed LSU's Antonio Blakeney under the same circumstances.

Yep, that's kind of what I'm getting at with my post. They also paid or tried to pay more than one recruit that signed with AU - the recruit reported that shite to the coaches AU when it happened.

This whole immunity thing may or may not be true according to Forde - but I do believe the NCAA was interviewing players this summer.

In all seriousness, the Memphis Tigers coming off a win against Ole Miss and looking to get into the BigXII are the real winners here. They are going to become the flagship football team of the Midsouth area.

The issue is trying to prove any of that. I'm not saying it di or didn't happen, but to just take the word of a player that didn't even go to that school without some pretty hard evidence would set them up for a serious legal issue and set a very bad precedent for the future.

I don't often go to team boards, but I couldn't resist today...

quote:

This has been going on for the last 40 years.

The game is played out at all schools. When someone gets the upper hand that shouldn't, it's time to take down the upstart.

Ole Miss has been the whipping boy for the SEC ever since Bama starting running the league.

Ole Miss isn't doing anything that the other schools are doing. So, lets roll the Rebels over to the NCAA as the only school doing anything illegal.

Bama is sitting on 20 recruiting violations and not one media outlet is reporting on it. Why?

We know who runs the league and whose money is running the league.

It's time for the Rebels to burn the ships and the SEC and blow the cover off this crap can called the SEC.

Let's face it. If we aren't a bunch of racist, then we have to be a bunch of no good cheatin'arse liars.

The rest of the SEC can suck dez nuts.

Oh, what will the SEC do without Ole Miss? I don't think the conference would ever recover.

The issue is if they are getting the same story from players at different schools, it is proof.

You think they're just gonna take the player's word for it? That's pretty naive of you. They likely already have information, questioned Ole Miss about it. and are just gonna see if the players corroborate the information or corroborate what Ole Miss told them.

There are things in the noa that happened after the Bo suspension was made public.

Needing proof isn't an excuse for something to not be in the noa. That's why the word "allegation" is in there.

Keep living in denial. It's been great watching you implode these last 6 months, I'll almost be sad when it's all over and you finally snap and pron bomb your way off this board. Almost
