It probably doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. Kongbo's just one of many recruits. However, it is curious because if they were still pulling shite with everything else going on they were asking for trouble.

I also need to make a correction, they are talking to Kongbo's parents and JuCo coach. Apparently Tom Minnick was disgusted with how the Ole Miss coaching staff was "Harassing Kongbo" and has information about what was offered and by whom.

Ole Miss coaching staff does not harrass. They just butt dial recruits a lot by accident, have boosters stay on top of them and the rest of the time the staff is just checking on them 50 times a day to make sure they are ok.....because they care.

I would guess a few 100 dollar handshakes probably happened but those are pretty hard to prove. Usually players don't start getting paid until they start playing for that school. The NCAA is NOT a court of law. They really don't need solid proof. They can base sanctions on witness testimony. They've done it before. You may even win some relief on appeal, but it won't matter. The damage will already be done by then.
