For the older guys on the board this is worse than Watergate . The moving vans for Hugh Freeze household goods should be lined up like wrecker trucks at a fifty car pile up .
Trust me heads will roll this is the second coming of Baylor . The final count twenty five bag men on the payroll .
1) Scholarships reduced to 10 per year for three years .
2) No Bowl appearance for four years .
3) Hugh Freeze will be coaching Pee Wee Football.
Good Luck .

Ole Miss' big mistake here is not taking into account just how insignificant they are to the big picture of college football... They are the perfect program for the NCAA to make an example of to pretend the organization still has some balls and teeth.

Ole Miss fans in here like "well, kids from other schools will just lie to get Ole Miss in trouble".......

Like the NCAA will simply do an interview with a kid and take what they say and call it a fact. No, they will ask the kid to provide evidence that it happened, about where it happened and who provided the illegal benefit. Then they will do their due-diligence and investigate that evidence.

This is all you need to read from the article:

The players were granted immunity from potential NCAA sanctions in exchange for truthful accounts of their recruitment, sources said.

Like what exactly?

Reggie Bush was getting a HUGE discount on rent for a while, along with, IIRC, a receiver or two.

Odd that "Always told them the truth" is listed under his kids, but nobody else.

Yeah, I'll miss them. Their denial has really made this offseason go by quickly... It's quite entertaining

According to om guys, the NCAA is out to get them for no apparent reason. Bc of this, the NCAA will step in and impose a postseason ban if the Rebs are close to going to Atlanta.

The main thing with NCAA and USC's involvement in the Bush side of the punishment was the coaches and the school should have known or did know and covered it up. The school or boosters didnt provide the benefits

I don't think this has enough upvotes. This is so big.

Exactly, they are the perfect school to make am example out if, to show they still have balls. A historically insignificant program in the top conference.

I heard y'all paid or tried to pay recruits just to visit OM. Some of those recruits reported this to other schools that were recruiting them. Now those few recruits ended up not signing with OM, but the incidents were reported through compliance at the schools they did sign with and was later reported to the NCAA. Is that why the NCAA has been questioning/interviewing players at AU/MSU and probably aTm and maybe even Michigan? Didn't Harbaugh make a negative comment about how some programs in the south were recruiting?
