Notre Dame is private and doesnt have to report anything so all of the funds coming outside the school from boosters and alumni organizations and people paying house mortgages they probably never even mention

Did not know this.

Actually it ranks #7 with avg 83 recruits per year, texas 370,florida 320 followed by georgia, california, ohio, and alabama

1. Total # of recruits is a really stupid gauge. Some states are a lot bigger than others, obviously California and Texas are going to have the most.

2. If you think Alabama has better recruiting than Louisiana you're just dumb. Sorry. Alabama fans will tell you that.

3.

Texas:
U of Texas
TCU
Texas A&M
Texas Tech
Houston
Baylor

Florida:
U of Florida
Miami
Florida State
South Florida

Georgia:
U of Georgia
Georgia Tech

California:
USC
Cal
UCLA
Stanford

Ohio State and LSU both basically have the state to themselves.

Yep.

He learned from the Billy Gillispie career suicide case study.

Billy had everything he wanted at A&M and would have been a hero for generations. The ONLY thing Kentucky had over A&M at the time was history, but expectations were ridiculous and the players at UK were spoiled dipshits.

Look at Herman. He can be a legend at UH for years to come. If they pay him enough, he can build a great program. Why leave?

Who cares? Jobs at this level really are all the same. All that matters is availability. LSU is the best job at the moment because it's available.

Makes infedity and drinking seem like nothing much.

Louisville will help cover up your back ally abortion bama will help hide the drinking, if you win enough as history has proven.

Only the premier catholic university will allow you to get away with murder.

I mean idk they are both private too so who really knows

But Brian Kelly is a top 10 paid coach there is no doubt. No one will ever know what he is paid.

This is a school that paid Charlie Weis like 30 million to never show up again, loves football and has a 11 billion dollar and growing endowment.

You do realize the state of Florida has about 4 times as much D1 talent right

Okay?

LSU gets all of Louisiana, plus takes some of the top talent out of Florida and Texas.

I'm not going to debate the Florida recruiting situation with LSUs, it's not even close. Sorry.

Does a coach really give a frick when both are over 100k?

we will pay more

Myth

we have lower expectations

Y'all are THE beta school. A coach who wants to win wouldn't go there

Oh and we are the only SEC team in the second best state for talent period

A state which has been poached by LSU for the past 5 years

We are a better job than LSU in 2016.

By your reasoning, we are by far the better program

Louisiana is an outlier. Georgia produces much more talent than Louisiana, but it also has schools from all over raiding the state. LSU has a huge advantage being the only P5 school in a small state that produces a ton of talent.

Facilities are at least equal (I know you don't really believe it but whatever).

Our stadium atmosphere is pretty similar.

LSU has a slight edge to A&M on recruiting, but not much.

A&M pays 5 million per year. LSU only pays 4 million

LSU fires coaches 4 games into a season.

4 games into a season. Fired.

Take this job that pays more and has nearly equal opportunities/facilities and you won't get fired unless you have a losing season and that firing won't happen until the end of the season.

Which is the better job?

Yes they are. Go look at any list. We are top five on facilities.

And we have been paying more for less so it isn't a myth. We would have paid Les like seven million a year, y'all paid him less than Sumlin.

True, but LSU pays its entire staff more than anyone else. LSU essentially tells the head coach to bring in whatever assistants you want. That is a factor as well.

But, I think The LSU and A&M job are in the same tier (somewhere between 7-15).

William it's not always what the better job is. For instance i can go to a company that is larger and pays more money but I really like the people and situation I'm in. LSU may get Herman or Jimbo or they may not. There are a lot of coaches out there that aren't huge names that will do a great job at LSU
