You can hide it well enough that it can't be proved directly, and that's all that matters. Everyone knows the truth, but you're wasting your time if you put any energy into caring or trying to expose it.

It's either Ole Miss, Miss State, Auburn, and Alabama written about in this article or a combination, given the context clues.
eta but this happens everywhere and I'm ok with it. shite I would partake if my financial situation allowed for it one day.

People don't give a shite because cars are all over every campus parking lot. It can't be proven - no money trail, all cash - the uncle/aunt/relative pays cash for the ride the title is in their name and no one can do shite about it. Cars to players is a rabbit hole that isn't worth trenching out.

It's probably all of those mentioned, plus more.

Yeah, 'cause LSU gets no 5* recruits or provides free housing or has players with sweet rides or gives jobs to a star player's girlfriend, right?

Any SEC fan base that claims another program is dirtier than theirs in recruiting are the same ones that claim other fan bases are more redneck than them.

A lot has changed since those days when Logan (and similar boosters at other schools) had a direct line to the assitants and the head coach. Logan was the original $180,00 bag man...

That's why it's fun to pile on a school when there are allegations out there. The defensiveness and denial from that school's fans are the best. See: AU in 2010, Bama in 2000, etc.

Maybe so, but I knew Logan and I knew an assistant on Bama's staff in the 90's. The assistant told me Stalling instructed his coaches to stay away from Logan, and Dubose did not. Connect your own dots with that, and the sentence I originally quoted.

Yep, it makes them look like bitches.

That's why after our epic recruiting class when people were throwing out accusations here I would reply "yes we're cheating, and you can't do a fricking thing about it."

That's right Auburn fans, you paid Cam. But guess what? You got away with it. You should rub it in people's noses every day. I know I would.

I hope Bama's placekicking bagman enjoyed his year long vacation. Time to get back to work.

Interesting read. Has me thinking about all the new ESTL recruits Mizzou is signing. And how about that kid from KC?

This has me worried, too. The coach at ESL is well-known for his recruiting and steering his kids to the highest bidder. For years, it was Illinois. Now it looks like it's Mizzou. It's just a matter of time...

Very very interesting read.

But this basically lays out the playbook on illegal benefits.
