Anyone want to speculate how he came about getting in contact initially with these bagmen?

Probably twitter and other forms of social media would be my guess.

Godfrey frequently asks on Twitter "I'll be in (so & so), any fans want to chat?"

he could be just BSing us all to generate clicks and get people to interview him. I could make up half of that stuff he claims to hear from real bagmen.

If real bagmen are all about staying out of the spotlight, why the hell would they lay out the blueprint of what they do to a journalist?

I don't know why they would talk to a journalist, but he did see a bagman give money to an active player.

Paid cash, how'd he do that? shite, we don't know, but here's the receipt where he paid cash, and now y'all ain't got shite. Go tell the NCAA you think we're cheating because this kid's uncle bought him a used Tahoe in cash, you racist."

All those stories about how rough it was in Pensacola and how Trent came from nothing. It's too bad that uncle didn't help out Trent and his family in the years before he played at Alabama.

I have a hard time understanding what kind of fan wouldn't want their boosters doing this.

Shitty fans? Is it a North vs. South thing?

I've got no problem with it. The key to corruption is making sure it doesn't get out of hand - the NCAA has juuust the right amount of power. If things end up above-board, they bring down the hammer.

Never has the term "Mythical" National Champions been more deserved than with the SEC teams who have won it in the recent past. Far worse than anything USC did with Reggie Bush. Ditto Heisman Trophy winners.

Sorry your oil money ran out. Poors.

The key is not getting caught. Hal Mumme, I'm looking at you.

Also this is the kind of shite that makes me laugh when Shabazz Napier cries about going to bed hungry. Your Mom has been to all your games this season, away and home, and you're starving?

Give us a fricking break.

To his defense the NCAA has been up UCONN's arse so I would assume that limited the interaction they've had with bagmen over the past couple of years?

I wished he would have discussed this, like what happens when the "block gets hot"? Does everyone dump their burner phone and go up north for a couple of months?

He should have gotten into basketball recruiting as well. It's much worse.
