1) a school with a nearby Waffle House
2) had a top player at their position visit on the last weekend but didn't get them
3) writer's travel schedule

Not saying the article isn't legit but I could introduce you to a handful of wacko dudes in this town who will sit down with a reporter and tell him whatever he wants to hear just to get it in an article.

My neighbor across the street will spew all kinds of bullshite about the mob and his family's connections to celebrity and politics if you will sit there and listen.

Articles like this are just attention whoring in the new era of digital journalism. Click me please!

Steven Godfrey is a senior reporter for SB Nation based in Nashville, Tennessee. A graduate of the University of Mississippi and a long suffering Atlanta sports fan, he can be reached on Twitter @38Godfrey.

How does one become a bag man? I think I could be good at it if the price is right.

Some things are better left unsaid. Some folks can't stand notice getting noticed - they are attention whoooores.

not sure if in the written article, but the author states pretty much 100% of 5 star recruits are paid

It's also how lame duck coaching staffs are created. If a majority of bag men want a particular coach out and an A.D. or president won't make a move, they'll just dry up funds.

That's real talk right there

Also can't wait for UGA fans to show up and talk about how it could never be them. At least Bammers know the score

Some of y'all are thinking, "Man, that sucks for the employees and people who were eating there." You're only partially right. If the Bama fan hadn't crashed into the Waffle House, he probably would have teabagged people inside.

So either way patrons and employees were going to lose.

It's also important to note that the Bama fan also had a passenger in the truck with him who fled the scene.

Fingers crossed it was Lane Kiffin.

"The coach won't know exactly when we decide to make that happen, but they've got a good idea. Then we get to see just how damn good a recruiter he really is. I know one of our guys once stopped putting in big bucks, way more than what I do, just because a head coach cussed too much on the team plane. [The coach] was losing anyway, but because he took the Lord's name in vain, that guy was offended by his morality and stopped illegally paying college football players."

hmmmmm

Chizik? Nutt? Dooley?

Takes Chiz out of the equation. He wouldn't allow his asst.'s to cuss.

It's not. And see my previous post, I wish we DID have a badass set up like this. But there is just no way at all that with as limp wristed we run our football program from the top down AD to the coaches, that this is at UGA. This specific instance I mean. Dude is talking about meeting the coach and "taking care of things" for players. I'm pretty sure Richt wouldn't be like "oh ok that's cool".

I'm not denying we probably do some under the table type things, but this specific story ain't us.

Chizik?

I thought about Chizik and our 2012 recruiting cycle which was brutal. We missed on everybody to the point it felt like the recruits were actually laughing at us as they picked other schools

However, I would like to think that having escaped the wrath of the NCAA on numerous occasions, no booster associated with Auburn would so openly mock them and draw such blatant attention to the program, right????
