I'm happy that there still hasn't been a back to back sec champ during this run. It shows just how tough this league is.

Living through AU or living through a Bama loss?

This could have been ITT Tech who did this, and I would have been equally happy. It's not like we have switched team affiliations to Auburn. We're just happy to see Bama lose. I don't see the big deal. We kicked Auburn's arse already.

If a fan's train of thought stops there, I'm reluctantly okay with it. However, the WDE posts, the bush league move by 104.5, the 48 hour erection that some people have seeing saban lose reaks.

I think your generalization and simplication of an entire fan base because a few posters on an internet message board typed WDE 'reeks.'

living out another teams win is pathetic

I can enjoy Bama losing without living through Auburn.

That was an incredible game. Many LSU fans appreciate that Bama loss because it proves what we've been saying about them since '11--that they lose the most important game on their schedule and it SHOULD cost them a shot at a national title.

I remember growing up in NOLA during the mid 2000s when it was pretty much LSU vs AU for the SECW every year. Everyone hated AU way more than UA. When started to peter out at the end of Tubbs reign, it was LSU vs UF. It wasn't until 2009 did LSU fans start to concern themselves with Alabama.

I repeat:

104.5 typically airs two hours of SVP and Rusillo live and Finebaum on tape delay at night. Today they preempted SVP (who'd probably be talking about the Iron Bowl as well as many other topics) for Finebaum live and listen to Bama fans cry and Auburn fans gloat. Considering their market is 95% LSU fans and their connections to the program are very strong, I think it's bush league. They will try to hide behind the "great game nonsense" but I don't buy it.

How in any way does LSU benefit this year from Alabama losing? Hell it might knock us down the list in the bowl pecking order, but that remains to be seen. We didn't rise in the standings in the SEC West.

I explained that, Ron. Let me repeat:

When the Tigers aren't playing, I enjoy watching a high quality, competitive game without needing to cheer for one side or the other.
