I will say this- it's good to see someone knock off Bama, simply because they were building up too much. I'm glad it was Auburn (if not us), because that means more direct recruiting competition in the state of Alabama. Might cause Bama to back off their La runs and try to hold their own state more.
Had it been A&M that did this, it would have hurt LSU even more than Bama continuing their run. We need to keep our back door closed, don't need harder competition with recruits coming from the West too.
thank you. For the LSU fans thinking that I am just attacking LSU fans, I don't say this with joy. As a fanbase, we should be better than that.
Hell, look at the LSU sports flagship radio group today. They are preempting SVP to play Finebaum live (a show that plays later in the night) so that all of these LSU fans who are so giddy about this can cackle all throughout the day. Personally, I'd rather here the national sports takes than listen to an Iron Bowl reaction call in show based in another state.

Don't be a dumbass. Alabama has been our nemesis the past 3 years and have been successful in poaching LA recruits because of their success. Many have also been pretty arrogant over that success. We are simply enjoying watching them get knocked down a peg or two. How hard is that to understand? How are we living (vicariously) through a team we have beaten 6 out of the past 7?

Well our lack of dominance in recruiting certain areas of LA probably has a lot to do with Bama usually winning games like the one they just lost to AU sooo...

It's a message board. People have fun on here. Ever been around when LSU loses? It was a great game with one of the best endings I've ever seen (as well as one of the most hilarious endings ever because of the oddness of it all). Did you think people wouldn't have a lot of fun with it? It hasn't even been 48 hours yet.
LSU and Bama fans like to mess with each other. Bama is still a great team. Also, LSU beat Auburn so there is pleasure in that as well.
But let me return the board to normalcy:
