Currently has 487 carries with another season to go. A similar year to '15 would yield 787 career carries. If LSU goes to the SEC champ or playoff that number could end up being over 825.

Recent SEC RB's for career comparison.

Ingram - 572
Yeldon - 576
Henry - 602
Lacy - 355
Mason - 516
Gurley - 510

But if he doesn't play as much he'll get the Clowney JR year treatment

I think I see a pattern of overusing rbs by someone. Top 3 on that list all went to Bama.

Yes he is, Miles needs to learn to say no and not put fournette in the game with a 20+ point lead. Against syrucuse fournette was getting carries up by 3 scores with a minute left in the game. That's not a good move.

Not yet. Yeldon and Henry still have a chance to avoid the bust label and be successful in the NFL.

Well, they also got extra carries in the SEC Championships and national championships, something Fournette hasn't been able to experience

Better to be college bust or league bust? Again, take your time, think through this.

I also think you really need to add some carries to Fournette's total. The carries where refs called holding and negated the play stats and thus the carry are something that never happened to any of Bama's backs.

I think they will use Guice a lot more especially against the cupcakes. I also expect LSU to be more balanced, with WR talent like Dupree, Duvall and the frosh Davis they have serious NFL talent at the position.

Henry had 4 games with more carries last season than Fournette has ever had in a game. That's running a RB into the ground. Miles does a pretty good job not to do that to Fournette. IF you spread it out over a lot of games, it's much less impacting.

Yes it is, but most of those RBs listed were either injured at some point or non starters at the beginning of their career. LF had nearly 200 as a freshman.

Henry had nearly 100 more carries than LF last year. I think he stays below 300 this year. Passing game should be more productive, plus Guice will get more carries.

I think we'll see him be used a little less this year for two main reasons

1. Miles always sides on safety for guys that will be most likely round one picks

2. We will be more balanced ( knocks on wood, crosses fingers and toes and rubbing lucky rabbits foot)
