No I'm not at all, and the best part is you somehow think that makes you close to the program. Plenty of players just go away. I don't need to get into with you but next time you are at a practice, game, or scrimmage we can talk lol.

I had a pic that I took when a player's mom had her son's at a game a few years ago. Your pic isn't going to convince anyone.

Sorry, but your x and o knowledge of offensive strategic game planning is very lacking and that's being kind. The screens first half in particular were designed to: 1-gradually wear out the OM front 7. 2-actually take advantage of wr speed in matchups where Bama had advantage...the problem arose because the blocking on edges had poor execution, i.e. watch the missed blocks by Dieter. 3-Take pressure off pure frosh QB by giving him easier throws and let others shoulder pressure. Regardless of effectiveness yardage wise first half of screens, they eventually vindicated the game plan by wearing out the OM front seven and thus opened holes for the inside running game to win the game second half.

You played QB and won a NC...but you have to use your company's box to get in the stadium.

I 100% think he is limited. Never said he was not. But I liked his playcalling against USC better. IDK why this is being argued, we won, end of discussion.

Thank the Lawd for our defensive players - 3 scored TDs!

it's all good man, it's a discussion board. On a real note I'd love to meet up with you and discuss Kiffin and whatever else. I usually start at the South Zone and go the IC before it's over. Reason being have family in two different area's.

All im saying is you dont have to run 13 jet sweeps in order to break a 65 yard run. You just have to block and execute. It did set it up, but it also got us in a 24-3 hole. Thats really the first game I have ever just hated the play calling since Kiffin has been here, i think hes great, and i know we have alot of young players, i just really want to see all of our stud wrs getting the ball down the field. Pick your poison.

I do agree it felt a BIT excessive on Saturday. However, it was clear what the plan was. Especially against their over-aggressive defense.

I think the reason being, is Ole Miss gave us the formula to beating them. They showed it against FSU and of course we had some bad errors, missed block fumble, blown coverage for TD etc. So our gameplan did the same thing but our errors made it closer.

Lane would run them anyway but since Hurts isn't going to scare anyone with down field passing, we will continue these ultra high percentage pass plays.

Here's the thing - that just isn't true at all.

First possession - great drive that ended in a FG after we failed to connect with a wide open TE in the end zone.

What role did a bubble or sweep play in that situation?

Second possession - drive that ended in a missed FG. With a 1st down at the OM 30, there were two screens. The second was set up for a good gain until Hentges knocked Stewart out of the game. Still, had a very reasonable FG shot.

Third possession - 3 and out. No screens or sweeps.

Fourth possession - After a big run by Jacobs into OM territory, Bama false starts. A jet sweep is followed by a reverse to Ridley that was supposed to be a throw back pass back to Hurts (I think) but OM read it and Ridley had to eat it. If you count the reverse, this is the ONLY drive of the day where the sweep/screen killed a scoring chance.

Score at this point? OM 7 Bama 3.

OM kicks a FG for a 10-3 lead.

Fifth possession - Bama has 1st down at the 50 yard line. Hurts channels his inner Jeremy Johnson for a loss of 8. Incomplete deep pass and a QB scramble on 3rd down end the drive.

OM scores a TD. Score now 17-3.

Sixth possession - Strip-sack TD on 1st down at the OM 47 with Hurts rolling and looking downfield.

The score is now 24-3.

AT MOST a single solitary Bama drive was killed by failed sweeps and screens - and that is only if you disregard the false start on first down and count the reverse/throwback as a sweep/screen.

Congrats on the rings, but when you make this statement there's no avoiding the fact that you're just plain wrong.

Bubble screens are great when they work (Kingsbury) and make you pull your hair out and cuss at the TV when they don't (Spavital).

those screens and sweeps are why your team had wider lanes to run through in the 2nd half..
