While I didn't like what you posted, I was contradicting another's opinion/whatever even though I didn't agree with what you said. Want to start something with somebody? Start with a poster who didn't address a logical comment in your own fricking thread.

So alabama players fail in the NFL..

Donta Hightower
Courtney Upshaw
Mark Barron
Julio Jones
Trent Richardson

All those guys were pretty good for their teams last year.

And the following guys are being spoken of pretty positively in their camps after coming off some rookie injuries.

Dre Kirkpatrick
James Carpenter
Josh Chapman

I'm not sure where JPW, Greg and guys like that fit into this argument. Every single person in their right mind knew these guys weren't going to be anywhere near a starting or evening contributing position in the NFL.

I'd say the jury is definitely still out. The only failure so far has been McClain, IMO

Know how I know you can't have a reasonable discussion? Because you have to resort to name calling and insults which you did in your "logical" post and continued do in your rambling response.

You posted in this thread because you read something that sparked your interest or you felt needed a response. Why not just post whatever it is that you want to say and leave all of the extra insults out? Especially since you find flaming abhorrent and desire intelligent discourse

And while we were posting

@ProFootballTalk: Browns hold Richardson out of practice with shin injury LINK

Browns running back Trent Richardson seems, at any given moment, to be trying to overcome an injury or waiting for his next one.

Mike Florio's words not mine

1st post here. i'll jump into the fire. Bama players really havent been in the league long enough to be considered failures under Saban. McClain i'll give you. but Barron was very solid with the Bucs last year. Julio is already one of the best WR's in the league. Trent rushed for nearly 1000 yards IIRC on an awful Browns team. Hightower and Cody have both played well in their roles with their teams. Dareus is doing a decent job with the Bills. Chapman and kirkpatrick IIRC were injured. Carpenter was a starter before getting injured. then take a look at some players who probably would not have sniffed the NFL without Saban. Arenas, Coffee, Jackson...

Who besides McClain has been a 'failure'? Well, there was the Andre Smith flakiness and derpy injuries, but it seems kind of bullshite of you to make this kind of blanket statement about Alabama's NFL draftees without backing it up or providing some sort of evidence, just giving us some cute speculative conjecture instead.

FWIW there may be something to be said for your little theory. A guy like Rolando has a career as a team leader at Bama and then turns out to be a complete flake.

What.the.frick.

I haven't read a single post other than the OP. Did Alabama fans let this go 10+ pages?

In fairness, it's only a few Auburn posters on this site. Guys like undecided and Allin2010... ok, yeah, and Tiger n Miami.

Bama's up in their dome pretty bad.

You forgot IronsPuppet. It's basically the ITAT faction of their fanbase. Those morons are truly something special.

I thought I saw him jump in an undecided thread earlier this week. Maybe even in the last couple of days, but I'm not going to bother searching to verify that.

I forgot about CPA, too. I don't know if he's permabanned or what, but I don't miss seeing him here. I don't think he was even an ITATer, he just had some serious psych/anger management issues.

What are you talking about? CPA posts under his alter names 'diddydirtyAubie' and 'blzr'

ETA: Damn... he's back.

99% sure that diddy is an al.com refugee. If he's a CPA alter, I never caught on to it. He's better behaved as diddy.

Wow. Had no idea CPA was even back....

WTF is it Saban's fault? At some point, players have to take responsibilities on themselves. So, if someone doesn't take the responsibility on their own in a job after college, it's the universities fault?
This is such bullshite...these are adults, not infants.

Agreed.

Undecided is just one of these liberal morons who believes a person's hand should be held for the vast majority of their life.
