But nether Powers nor Marks are at the star power level than the OP seems to expect all Alabama players to be.
So are we moving the goalposts already? Sweet. And here I thought my first response was to who was a starter.

So you are adding in more criteria to your question because you didn't like my answer? Awesome.

I simply mentioned Ben Tate because I figured you would.

Do I really need to link the thousands of articles, interviews, videos, tweets, ect written on the greatness of Nick Saban and his players???

Nick Saban is a great coach and they are great college players. And they get drafted highly. What more do you want Alabama and Saban to do for them?

Which players of Saban's, from Bama, have "failed" in the NFL? Which ones have had their entire career play out yet? Seems like you are a little premature designating them as failures; most NFL players start producing at high levels after 3-4 years in the league and only a few freaks come in and do much in the first two years.

This is a huge reach of a flame towards Saban and Bama.

No need for name calling. My mention of Ingram was simply in response to your disclaimer re: Ben Tate who is the backup to Arian Foster, whom I've heard is a pretty decent back. I believe Tate had the option to sign elsewhere to be a feature back but choose to remain with the Texans

I think this is generally true. A man doesn't usually reache his full strength till about age 25...so I've read anyway.

Nothing. This thread is about the players and why they don't live up to their potential and/or hype

I think we are discussing completely different issues, but seem to agree with each other. I don't think Alabama players should be held to any higher standard in the NFL than any other draftees from around the same draft position. And I think the same for Auburn draftees.

I never compared Ingram to Tate? I think both have the talent to be NFL starters but both are in unfortunate situations. Both, for example, would be starting for the Dolphins if they had been drafted there.

I agree. Hence why I mentioned in my very first post in this thread that this thread was dumb.

I answered one question you posed. You are the one who decided to nitpick it because it didn't fall in line with the OP's theme (which I already said, was fricking stupid).

I have not read the entire thread. I had no idea if you were trying to defend the OP or support him, or really what argument you were trying to make. I took your post out of context. My bad.

As I stated earlier, your continued participation is greatly appreciated

The first page of this thread actually brought some reasonable response that related to the OP. However, that did not last long, oh well C'est la vie

Lacy looks like he spent his signing bonus on Big Macs.

Compare him to Christine Michael that the Seahawks took with the next pick.

Pete Carroll is bragging on Michael.

The vast majority of NFL players are not particularly note-worthy and don't have awesome careers.

Alabama produces way more NFL draft picks than most schools. I'd say the success rate of Bama players is pretty much on average.

Sooo . . . No jokes are allowed to ease the tension? You're
the first person to mention the charger in a 5 page thread. Stop being so overly sensitive about being compared to Aufamily and The Bunker. Live a little

Bad camera angle. The camera adds 10lbs

I saw a couple of different pictures of Lacy in which he looked in shape so Im inclined to give him a pass for right now

I don't support dumbassness. The 3rd grade IQ repetitive flames that every fanbase loves to throw around is nothing but the waste that comes out of my pet. It's not funny. It's not amusing. It's a waste of bandwidth and effort/energy by the one posting it.

That's your opinion and you're entitled too it but as I've said many times before, the repetitive bitching about a thread you're reading and posting in does nothing to promote discussion and it distracts from those that may actually find the topic interesting. If you see a thread that offends, annoys, or is beneath you ignore it. All of your knighting, name calling, and complaining is just as ignorant and childish as whatever post or poster you're attempting to put down
