We are gonna end up with some new pop icon or country singer. I'm prepared to be disappointed. The college students will love it I guess.

Never mind the fact that a good chunk of his friends and family are graduates of the university, and live in Starkville. Which according to your definition of a connection, would classify him as having pretty strong affiliation.

I have plenty of family and friends that graduated from MSU.

I'm hearing from very reliable sources, like hearing it from these sources is better than actually witnessing it, that its going to be 2Pac.

Very likely. Have they had an actual athlete on gameday this season?

I loved Brian Wilson on Gameday last year. Not football but he actually played at LSU and was a hell of a lot more relevant than anyone else worth remembering.

I still say he's my favorite guest picker. His entire segment was .gif worthy.

Also Grisham is a pretty outspoken fan of state, he did law at OM, don't think he really pulls for them.

Grisham lived in Oxford, went to Ole Miss games (I met him once at a baseball game when I was in grad school), and is close friends with several administrators there, including former chancellor Robert Khayat. I did not even realize he attended State.

He has a house in both Oxford and Starkville....but I think it's pretty much given that he supports Virginia the most.

His name was brought up a lot in regards to our Gameday last week....but he's been known to tell people that he would more likely to prop up Delta State than anything.

Jonathon pappelbaun(I know I butchered that spelling) would probably be pretty decent. Would be a shoe-in if it were a few years ago when he was all over baseball headlines.

Serious question. Why does Grisham support UVA? I didn't even know he had ties to the university there.

He's a big MSU baseball fan. I know he spends more time in Virginia than the other two but I also know MSU is his team of choice. Not sure he really gives a damn about football.

Greg Hardy is going to be a great guest picker when they come back on November 1st

He'll be too busy beating the shite out of a female.

I think an Evan and Taylor Stone duo would be the best answer for State..

Per his wiki....the man can't settle on only one school.

Started at NWCC in Senatobia, then to Delta State, Then to MSU, and OM for Law school.

I don't see any ties to Virginia other than him owning a house in Oxford and Virginia and also giving money to the Virginia Baseball team.

They should pick someone with ties to both programs. Cecil Newton, SR. might be available.
