You're just flat out wrong, which is par for the course. Rice was literally on campus, in the football facility, yesterday. He was at Bulldog Bash. He hosts an annual golf tournament in Starkville. Starkville, and the university, are most certainly relevant to him.

meh.

Woody Harrelson was at the game this past weekend. If he played golf Sunday at the University Course....that still doesn't mean he has any actual connection to the school.

Katy Perry was great. That's why the media is saying it.

I've seen this mentioned a lot by State fans this week. Are you saying this because was born at the Starkville hospital?

I know he grew up in Crawford.

about what? That he's from Starkville, played golf, and went to Bulldog Bash?

Hell....there's thousands of people in Oktibbeha Co. that evidently fit your criteria of having enough connections to MSU to become a Gameday guest picker.

Works out well. Rice played for a historically black college and State's uniforms certainly look like those of an hbc.

My point is MSU isn't relevant to Jerry Rice. He has no connections to the school.

He's been on campus for two straight weeks and it wasn't to be on television. What the frick are you talking about?

I still say Brett Favre is more likely than rice.

Favre actually has a connection to the school via his son.

If he simply went to the game, which he did, I would say he has more connections than Katy Perry.

Ricky Stenhouse, JR has been on campus countless times. But, IIRC, he has no real connections other than him just being a fan.

I think it will be someone random like Katy Perry and Kenny Chesney.

well whatever the hell relation the tatted up trashy kid that played for you guys has to him....

as much as you guys bragged about him having the Favre name and playing for you guys....I figured he'd at least have spawned from the actual ballsack of Brett.

still more of a connection than Jerry Rice.
