For all the McElroy hate he did last longer in the NFL than Tebow.

GMac will be the Kirk Herbstreit of the SEC Network. The Keith Jackson of this generation. Can't wait for his signature birds to fly.

That was a crybaby punk move. I lost some respect for McCarron for that. At least man up and act like a competitor.

Or maybe because GMac is smart, we'll educated, and lead his team to a title....

All things. Sir Charles never managed to accomplish.

Greg McElroy isn't near the football player when compared to Charles Barkley with basketball. Let's not be dumb here, bro.

What? A real competitor doesn't run and shake hands with his archrivals who just ruined his chance at a perfect season and making history with a threepeat.

I guess that means Saban isn't "A real competitor".

I enjoyed McElroy's interview in roll tide/war eagle. He is the only one I will enjoy on the sec network it seems. The rest of the cast is everyone I've hated growing up

They might as well just add tuberville and orgeron and Lou holtz while they're at it.

You're right. But they didn't hire Greg McElroy for his talent on the field. They hired him for his intelligence in the booth - something Charles Barkley lacks.

It's simple (pun intended) to use Charles Barkley and the word "dumb" in the same sentence.

Through my orange and blue glasses, I find McElroy to be both articulate and annoying. Mostly annoying.

It's a home run hire.

A few years ago Colin Cowherd had a lengthy interview with Greg and he blew them away. One of CC's support staff remarked to CC that he may have just interviewed his successor.
