No, just use to the same song coming out of UGA.

Is thinking we'll win the east really a stretch? I mean, we're not saying we're going to the playoffs.

Yeah, wiht a first year head coach, entirely new staff on both sides of the ball, a true freshman QB, and a garbage OL. Are you surpised we lost to some bad teams? WE were a bad team.

What people don't seem to get through their heads is that we have NEVER, at any point in our history, had a recruiting class like this. And not only does it just have a high point number or rank, it fills positions of needs and especially addresses the OL which Richt never did.

Again, I'm not saying we're going to win X amount of games or go to Y bowl game. I'm simply saying that this is NOT the "same thing" as always. This is absolutely different in a very good way.

Thread title should read Georgia set to dominate the off season. Finally putting an end to Tennessee's dynasty.

Just wait until we bring in the QB coach from North Texas, VOLS will once again be unstoppable on this platform

When it comes to regular season success, it all starts in winning the offseason. That's what we preach on the message boards.

UT had an offense littered with NFL talent.

So you admit it can be done. Good because we are gonna have some NFL talent just like y'all did.

I said the same about Gus when he lost to UGA the last two years.

We had a Junior Justin Hunter, a junior Cordarlle Patterson, a Junior Tyler Bray, an All SEC Mychal Rivera, and a very experienced offensive line.

That is much better than what Georgia will trot out in 2017.

I am thinking towards 2018 when our strong OL class aren't true freshmen anymore.

Except UGA wasn't the inferior. They have a better record than Auburn in the last two years.

Georgia has had a top 10 recruiting class basicly every year since 2011. In the East from 16 back they finished 1, 2, 2 (Tenn 7th & Ga 8th), 2, 2, 1st.

Those given years from 16 back they have finished behind the team that the prior year had the: 12, 21, 39, 43. YOUR problem isn't bad recruiting, it's been blowing games you should win.

I can see that. Next year Ga might win the East, but they will be reliant on some young talent on the OL in that case.

After a year of experience though...

In 2018 we'll have a seasoned Eason and dynamite OL and receivers/TE.

The problem is that we lose basically teh entire defense and both chubb/sony.

I don't really know what to think about 18 yet.

Rbs aren't gonna be an issue at uga. We should return both ILBs, lecounte and baker in the secondary, and all but two of our DL.

A Problem has been bad recruiting at certain positions. Now the margin of error should increase thanks to improved recruiting at those problem positions.

SC will have a say in this once mUSChamp has a roster full of his players.

Should be some interesting battles between close friends mUSChamp and Kirby in coming years.

There has been attrition issues at UGA and Tennessee in the past. Good recruiting classes yield good freshmen. Good freshmen Start but make freshmen mistakes and games are lost because of them.

If those freshmen stick around and become Juniors and Seniors, then you can develop into a great team. Unfortunately at UGA and UT, these freshmen aren't making it. Tray Matthews, Brendan Langley, Shaq Wiggins, Josh Harvey Clemons, John Taylor. That means that they are being replaced with more freshmen.

When UGA has transfers become starters from places like UAB, Rhode Island, and backup QBs at Virginia... there are talent deficiencies. Top 10 recruiting is not good in this conference if you are trying to build something special.
