In 2018 we'll have a seasoned Eason and dynamite OL and receivers/TE.
The problem is that we lose basically teh entire defense and both chubb/sony.
I don't really know what to think about 18 yet
2018 is the year. We will lose a ton. But the 2015, 2016, and 2017 recruiting classes will have a foundation and depth ready.
But championships are won in the trenches and that is when we will be ready.

If Kirby wants to dominate the East, he'll have to do it consistently year after year. It'll take more than one year.
He'll also have to demonstrate that he can coach too. This year he didn't.

No, just use to the same song coming out of UGA. They would always find a way to lose to a couple of inferior teams each year. I saw it at least three times this year.
You Aubies better hope that we're not the same song coming out of UGA (9-2).

Richt had great recruiting classes almost every single year but at some point they have to be coached up.
I agree with the 2018 theory as to when UGA will be much better....Eason still has a year of snaps to learn SEC football.
Meanwhile UF will be ready to snatch another east crown.

Boom's 1st 3 classes in a row were better than anything CMR ever put together in consecutive years.
WIth this signing class and the Jr's sticking around we'll have over 60+ 4/5 stars on the roster...something
we never had in CMR's 15 years.

Always so much potential, but can't seem to do anything noteworthy with it.
Another print the tee shirts recruiting thread.
Tennessee has a better chance to take that "dominant" position than Georgia.

The same conversaiton is going around in circles, probably time to lock this thread down.
For the 5th time in this thread, Richt was recruiting excellent on skill positions but was lacking on OL and DL recruiting. That's the difference between 9.6 wins per year and championships.
Kirby is now, so far in this class, doing very well recruiting in the trenches where Richt lacked.

It's officially off season again, time for UG and UT to battle for the championship.

Which SEC school has more WR's in the NFL?
CMR did fine at WR just not his last couple of classes

Wr recruiting had been crap since we signed Malcolm Mitchell in 2012, which was 4 classes. As for before that, it wasn't good enough to handle a few injuries in 2013. No depth at all.

Once again, which SEC team has more WR'S in NFL?
We lost our #1 and #2 WR's and the other 2 (Conley and
Bennet)made the NFL.
So we had 3 NFL WR's and another (JSW) who had a career ending injury who had a lot of potential.
But we had no depth a WR?

Winning the SEC and BCS bowls aren't noteworthy? No wonder people think UK fans don't know shite about football.

Bennett never made the NFL, but he was a good college wr from the 2010 class.
Your question doesn't prove our wr recruiting had been good in richts final 5 years of 2012-16, does it? If so, that's not relevant to the position we have been in recently.
With those injuries in 2013, Our offense became crippled as Wooten and a walk on named McGowan rounded out that wr corp. If you think that's quality depth, then you and I have different opinions on what constitutes quality depth.

With TN being the champions of life these past few years I've forgotten how awful UGA fans are.
