Provo, Utah is the 4th best college town in America. College Station is 2nd...

I don't know what they are smoking at Forbes, but it has to be some mighty potent stuff.

Yeah, Madison WI is pretty cool.

I'd cut out all the cold weather sites but my bro went to Michigan State and loved it and claimed to "really enjoy the change of seasons". I think it's a crock, and just blind college pride, but there you are.

Maybe this list is really based on the average price of ramen noodles and beer?

Good lord what a list

College station?
Provo?
Ann Arbor?

It's all relative to what you are used to and how you grew up. Somebody in Gainesville isn't going to say South Bend Indiana is a better town or vice versa. This lists are one person's opinion. This guy grew up in probably a place in Michigan or Ohio so the south isn't gonna be real appealing. It's all a matter of opinion.
I love Ttown but its just what I'm used to.

They used actual criteria and data to support their point.

You're crazy if you think Ann Arbor isn't one of the best college towns in America. Idk about being #1, but it is an amazing place with a vibrant downtown and has a beautiful set up.

These lists crack me up. They're just freaking clickbait. Here's one for 2014 that got me all excited because it had Fayetteville at #4 best college town in America. Then I saw the other towns in the top 10.

LINK /
1. Ames, Iowa
2. Logan, Utah
3. Oxford, Ohio
4. Fayetteville, Arkansas
5. Tempe, Arizona
6. Charlottesville, Virginia
7. Champaign, Illinois
8. Moscow, Idaho
9. South Bend, Indiana
10. Hattiesburg, Mississippi

I'm not sure that's the company I want to keep.

Clemson and UVA are best two on east coast. VA tech is nice too but don't prefer the limestone architecture.

the northwest has several nice ones, the University of Idaho may be my favorite. I like UCLA the best in the southwest.

overrated: UGA, UNC, Boulder, Ole Mss

underrated: Miss State, NC State, SC

Clemson is shite. Ugly trash town. Not even top 20 on the East Coast. Probably much lower
