Where would you put MTSU, I see a lot of their gear in Nashville?
I see lots of Bama gear, especially when I eat at Shoney's

Baton Rouge above Tuscaloosa though.
Tuscaloosa is nice but BR has a lot more to do.
List blows overall

You are right to correct my error of omission. MTSU fans are a plenty in Nashville, but because of their lesser conference affiliation it is a school of second choice. That could change if they ever moved up.
I dunno, I see plenty UT fans in Shoney's as well.

It seems to me it just simply favors larger cities over smaller towns. Most of those towns except for a couple are simply cities with a college located in them, not a "college town" meaning it's a small town specifically built around a college such as Auburn, Oxford, Starkville, etc.

1. Ann Arbor, MI
While a nice city for Michigan, this should not be #1.
There are some nice parks and restaurants, however.
But towns like Athens, Charlottesville, etc. rank higher.

Gainesville at 5 might be the biggest joke I've ever seen.

Good, good.
Now we get to listen to all you dumb southerners who haven't even been there talk about how it's ranked too high.

It doesn't really surprise me Gainesville is high. It always seems to score very high on livability surveys.

Everybody knows y'all bought this ranking with your big oil money.
You didn't buy #1 bc you thought it would make it too obvious...but we're some smart folk up in here.

Athens is a cool place. I doubt College Station is as nice.

Lots of butthurt in here.
Clean up your shithole towns and maybe you can be as good as Gainesville.

Anyone who is comparing Gainesville or Columbia to Athens is completely stupid. But hey, enjoy your crappy towns, we will keep partying here in Athens.

College Station number 2
Quit reading right there. Use to be my work territory. What a shithole town

No thanks on Ann Arbor.

Nah. We all just can't fathom a real college town being bullied by a 25 yr old grad student. Who wants to visit a town full of capitulating pussies.

Yeah, Ann Arbor is a bit overrated. It's a nice suburban town, great place for someone to live and grow up, but not all that great a college town. My brother used to live in Madison and I always thought it was great. Austin should probably top this list, but it's kind of unfair that a city with so much other stuff to do on its own goes into the ranking. I mean, should UCLA and USC benefit because of L.A.? Or Washington because of Seattle?
