At least wait until Liz wins before you sound like a gaping pussy!...
Or Trump could have returned the sensitive info when asked. Sloppy mofo....
What is behind the left's deranged hatred of Trum
My theory: It's because he is a lying piece of shite scumbag whose whining alone is worth keeping him out of office forever. Plus, he's made the GOP into a herd of gutless fools. (With some good people.)...
Huntsville is in a much prettier part of the country. The Woodlands is a well stocked pantry in Texas....
Not a chance. The Woodlands is regularly voted best city in America, best place to raise a family, blah blah blah.
It's very nice but pretty Stepford wivesish, no? Tiny bit of a creep factor but in a good, clean, godly way....
Have we checked on EVERY ex president for this? Do we really know what Jimmy Carter might still have?
I'd assume all of them get some sort of form letter from the national archives. I'm also sure none of them would intentionally hold on to any, and then whine about being pr...
Well that settles it Kamala, what a word salad response. The president has the authority, a department head can "protest" but it still will be declassed,
That's the point. You have a check on an ex-President leaking sensitive info or lying about how he declassified stuff after th...
And since, by your words, since such procedures are not going to be specified in laws or regulations, who should make that call? CNN, you, Merrick Garland? Just trying to figure out your angle.
The law provides that an agency write regulations (which are codified in CFR). Those r...
Got ya. But so should the President be able to over ride an agencies’ procedures?
If the procedure provides for an agency head contesting a declassification, the President is bound by that procedure until he has the agency change the procedure. ...

Not the same. The process I linked to allows a department head to contest a declassification that could harm the country. Even if the President has ultimate authority, it builds in a process (which makes total sense) to stop a dimwit from fricking over the country. Whatever your claim for ult...
In other words, courts don't want to get in the way of a President keeping information safe from disclosure for the sake of national security. It doesn't follow that a court will view a President exposing confidential information to enemies (or just being sloppy with it) in the same light....
They have no legitimate (nor legal) argument here.
You really need to read that case more carefully. It stands for the proposition that the Executive's decision to "classify" is broad. It doesn't address declassification. It just says that the President can decide what is classi...

Each agency is likely to have a memorandum regarding declassification procedures in order to protect the documents and to give agency heads the ability to contest declassification. Here is an example. https://www.dodig.mil/Portals/48/Documents/Policy/520001_vol1.pdf?ver=2017-04-25-160924-740 ...
