Snubbing an undefeated P5 conference champion for two one loss teams is indefensible.

Why? What makes a Power 5 conference a Power 5 conference? Are you going to be willing to grant that conference that standing when they lose half their teams? Why is FSU more deserving than Liberty? Liberty might be able to beat FSU on the field. Where's your outrage for them?

They can whip Georgia’s arse and prove everybody wrong, but we know that’s not happening.

Do you honestly think FSU is better than Bama?

Yes

The Bama that showed up against Auburn would have been waxed by FSU.

And the Texas game wasn't close.

Alabama simply stole FSU's slot with the help of sleazy ESPN.

That’s convenient… after everyone else at ESPN screwed them over

No it’s not, the rules explicitly dictate it’s what needs to happen when an injury results in a prospective team becoming no longer competitive as clearly happened here.

So to be clear, did you watch the Alabama - Auburn game and think that Alabama was a playoff competitive team?

I’m just trying to figure out when the eye test matters and when it doesn’t

So just to be perfectly clear, if it was Bama who was 13-0 but got left out because Milroe got hurt even though you beat Auburn with a backup them won the SECCG with the third QB, you would not argue that you should be in? You would graciously accept being left out and openly acknowledge that Bama did not deserve a playoff spot?

That is what you are saying right?

Yep. Beat the #1 team, 13-0, far superior resume than FSU? And did it with a backup QB?

Bama's in. Easily.

Sorry Bama didn't play a podunk ACC schedule and ducked top 10 teams like FSU did by joining the ACC two decades ago. They've benefitted from easy schedules, now they're paying a price.

They didn't. Good thing they played #1 UGA the following week.

Something FSU didn't do.

It definitely mattered Saturday night when Alabama took down #1 & FSU was stumbling around with Louisville.

At the start of the 4th quarter alabama was up 16-13. What is your definition of not close?

Hmmm what about the 3 point win against Arkansas?

Or the 6 point win against A&M

Or the 14 point win vs South fricking Florida?

Like can we be real for a second?

Alabama had a terrible and completely unconvincing season and got bailed out by winning the SECCG against a not full strength Georgia team

And apparently those injuries don’t matter to the selection committee, but others do

Michigan had the worst SOS of anyone in the CFP Top 10 rankings after Saturday's games were complete -

Where are you seeing this? Michigan beat 2 teams who finished in the top 10.
Here are the SOS rankings from the BCS computers:

Anderson/Hester: #31 Michigan, #8 Washington, #24 Texas, #23 Bama, #63 FSU
Billingsley: #47 Michigan, #15 Washington, #4 Texas, #1 Bama, #44 FSU
Colley Matrix: #32 Michigan, #11 Washington, #6 Texas, #7 Bama, #69 FSU
Massey: #57 Michigan, #4 Washington, #3 Texas, #2 Bama, #64 FSU
Sagarin: #56 Michigan, #5 Washington, #4 Texas, #12 Bama, #61 FSU

The committee though is supposed to be neutral. They showed yesterday though they’re not neutral.

The committee turned this into the ESPN INVITATIONAL.

Not a real championship bracket any more after they threw out an undefeated P5 program.

I didn't think that Disney/ESPN could get any sleazier, but they proved otherwise.

blah blah blah . . . IRRELEVANT

The Committee has spoken.

AND anybody who thinks that they would leave Saban's Bama team OUT and put FSU in just isn't thinking clearly.

Final Note: in this league, it's always been a subjective thing when it comes to winning it all - the polls have always been very subjective and based on human emotions, feelings, "eye-test". Compare to English Association Football and how they determine Promotion and Relegation - absolutely NO subjectivity there.

The powers that be LIKE it this way. They LIKE having Saban's Alabama as the King of College Football.

Good thing Bama beat #1 UGA and #11 Ole Miss.

FSU needed Clemson to miss a chip shot FG, BC to miss a PAT and the Miami QB break his arm. You only gonna focus on Bama's struggle wins when FSU had plenty of their own?

Now, where's FSU good wins? Answer, please.

I don’t see how people don’t get that having struggle wins but going undefeated is so completely different from having struggle wins with a loss, but whatever
