False Flag Objectivity.

You stole FSU's "earned on the field" slot.

Enjoy your ESPN INVITATION while everyone else knows it is was obtained by your ambulance chaser coach.

FSU has every right to be upset...just not with Bama. Alabama earned it on the field. 12-1 SEC champ. Best resume. Beat no. 1 on the last weekend on a neutral field. That team has to get in.

Bama deserved to be in more than anyone and all ppl can hang on to is the fact we were ranked 8th and moved up to 4th. That's it. Bama should have never been 8th anyways.

ACC is not a real P5 league. Should Liberty have gotten in? They won all their games. What more could they do?

I feel bad for them but it was an odd year. Any other season they go 13-0 then they'd be in no doubt.

No, but I also didn’t think Texas was better than Bama or that Bama was better than Georgia.

Dude no one is arguing that FSU had better wins than Alabama. No one

But the fact remains that if Jordan Travis hadn’t gotten hurt FSU would be in the playoff right now, regardless of SOS, so obviously that’s a completely faulty argument

Surely you would at least concede that Texas should be above Bama? No?

cannot be stated enough. this is the root of it all. if travis is healthy, FSU is in.

The downvoters of the posts like this one haven't stopped to realize that FSU would have wrecked Florida and Louisville with Travis. They go in at #3 with him and the committee sorts it out between Texas and Bama.

And the Texas/Bama dilemma is the age old "who won head to head" vs. which team lost last. Texas won the head to head. But they also lost their game mid season.

Next year this crap moves to 12/13 where it isn't as big a deal. If you are a fan of a 10-2/9-3 who is unlucky enough to be #13... it's just too bad. And be thankful you can win a bowl game rather than be cannon fodder in the playoff field.

Yeah, and it would have been ridiculous for FSU to have taken a spot over Bama playing that embarrassing schedule.

I don’t see how people don’t get that having struggle wins but going undefeated is so completely different from having struggle wins with a loss, but whatever

FSU deserves the opportunity to see how far they can go.

Texas and Bama are not in the same situation. Neither was TCU last year.

ESPN led the charge to get Bama in, now they're trying to have it both ways and pretend they're incensed about FSU getting snubbed

Snubbing an undefeated P5 conference champion for two one loss teams was the correct decision.

Here’s my thing, people can talk about SOS until they are blue in the face

The simple reality is that, if Jordan Travis was playing, FSU would be in the playoff

So all SOS arguments are literally completely useless, because they had nothing to do with the actual decision

Did the committee say this or is this your interpretation?

Why is it hard to believe that both sos & the qb injury were factored into the decision? Seems pretty obvious that Bama beating the committee's #1 team had something to do with it.

Texas played the 9-3 Mullets. Bama beat the #1 team in the nation that day.
If only Texas and Alabama could play on the field to determine who was better...

Truly a shame they couldn't schedule each other this year

I have a notion that if Oklahoma went undefeated and were pushed out that you might just have a different perspective.

Bamna stole FSU's slot with the help of sleazy ESPN.

ESPN was pushing this narrative of leaving FSU out before JT13 got hurt.

Bama scheduled 1 OOC P5 opponent and lost that game.

FSU scheduled 2 (both from the SEC) and won both.

OOC scheduling is the only control an AD has over scheduling.
FSU made the effort and won.
Bama half assed it (like usual) and lost.

Prior to the CFPC announcement, Bama fans were "bitching" about scheduling the 1 Texas game.
All the while FSU had the balls to schedule 2 of them.

Then why is FSU 5 and Georgia 6?
