So now we're looking at $5m in losses?

No. The SEC has a lost home game insurance policy

Florida logic: 3 road games in a row is bad for us.
...
3 road games for LSU with 2 being within 5 days of each other is good.

Who is paying for my ticket + taf fee in this scenario?

Why would other SEC schools be okay with this? Basically they are saying all schools offered to pay their share of that cost.

Why should LSU play on 11/19.

Move the cocktail party to 10/22 and play us on 10/29....problem solved.

LSU should refuse. Why should LSU give up a home game to play 3 straight road games including the last one being played on a Thursday because Florida has inept decision makers running their athletic dept. LSU should not be penalized in any way for the way Florida handled this situation.
LSU played their first home game of the season in 2005 a week after Hurricane Katrina hit on the road at Arizona State rather than cancel/postpone the game. Baton Rouge was not hit hard by Katrina but was used as shelter and temp trauma sites. Florida if they wanted to play this game should have made the right decision to play at LSU or an alternate site.

Most teams adapt to uncontrollable weather situations like men. UF is trying to avoid it by having LSU, BR, and the SEC cover it. frick them. shite happens. You deal with it, or you pussy out. Now we know which way UF goes.

No they wouldn't, but reading is hard.

Why should LSU have to lose a home game for Florida's storm?

We did more than enough

We all are. We seceded. And Louisiana was out of the fight by the end of 1862.

So it's okay for Florida to lose a home game against LSU but not okay for LSU to lose a home game against a nobody

So Florida should have to pay 3 away games in 14 days? What part of the SEC would pay for the lost revenue is confusing?

LSU would be paying itself out of money it would otherwise be entitled to a share of. Wow, what a grand gesture.

Perhaps because LSU routinely has a top 4 schedule in the conference, whereas Florida is in the East and still routinely schedules embarrassing garbage?

Florida can't be allowed to use this as an advantage (which is 100% what they're purposely doing) and get their players back when they've played UMass, UK, North Texas, and Vandy. The only proverbial bye week they don't have this year is Georgia and Arkansas. But they want to throw it back at LSU and disadvantage a schedule that wipes its arse with Florida's?

LSU offered multiple solutions AND EVER OFFERED BUSES AND PLANES to help out. UF refuses, then offers this idiotic plan.

SEC may have paid for the universities lost revenue, but I doubt they would for the local businesses. LSU offered to play Saturday through Monday anywhere. Was willing to foot the bill on planes/hotels if in Baton Rouge or Nola. Florida dragged their feet knowing damn well this wasn't going to happen.
