I figured it wouldn't be long before the real story started to come out.

Is there a link to the "real story", has the SEC Commissioner gone public with this?

Will there be a hurricane bearing down on our state in November?

So you'd rather have what amounts to 2 SEC losses now instead?

3 conference road games to close out the season

I remember when we had that problem.

Texas A&M 63, at Auburn 21
Texas A&M 38, at Mississippi State 13
Texas A&M 29, at Alabama 24

Yes.

This isn't LSUs disaster, nor was LSU the one who was unable to host the game.

Are you really this stupid?

So this is going to end up as a cancelled game with both sides refusing to budge?

So Florida should have to pay 3 away games in 14 days? What part of the SEC would pay for the lost revenue is confusing?

Florida's credibility in this matter is in the toilet. LSU shouldn't have to play 3 road games in 19 days, lose a home game all because Jeremy Foley and Jim McElwain were afraid to play LSU this weekend.

So we'd lose all the revenue for Baton Rouge, which desperately needs it and play 3 tough road games to end our season?

So competitive situations and revenue are valid reasons to not reschedule a game.

Got it.

I think Florida agrees.

Why should LSU lose the revenue from a home game just because UF was afraid to lose another football game?

This could have easily ended up like South Carolina last year; instead y'all took the pussy way out. Act like a bitch, get treated like one.

We offered Sunday and Monday to keep the game there. UF still said no.

And before you say it, I'd like to point out how the narrative changed on the rant today.

SECr: "LSU is a bunch of pussies, hurricane won't be anywhere near, will be a perfect day."

SEC announces games cancelled

SECr: "Why is everyone upset? There's a hurricane coming. Think of the families."

It covers the lost game against Florida. Not for cancelling midseason without reason on South Alabama, jackass.

Seems like it would cover UF playing in baton rouge, wouldn't it?

And I highly doubt LSU and the surrounding areas get compensated from lost revenue of LSU having to cancel a home game.
