Meh. No need for hyperbole. The constant on defense is Nick Saban. And let's not pretend Jeremy Pruitt can field a top ten defense. Plus he's plenty familiar with what Saban wants.

Kiffin has completely changed Alabama on offense from a play calling stand point. I wouldn't go as far as "best OC in football", but he's been perfect for Alabama. Hopefully he's around another 2-3 years. See what he can do with a multi year starter at QB.

We didn't lose the best strength and conditioning coach - he's still here.

Be mad though. You wear it well

Calling him the best OC in football and it not being close, may be an overstatement. But this comment completely overlooks that Kiffin has had to put in a brand new starting quarterback the last two years, and has two SEC championships and a national championship to show for it. In this day and age, that's an accomplishment no matter how talented your running backs are.

If winning a championship or two at Alabama makes him the best offensive coordinator on Earth, then Alabama also just lost the best defensive coordinator on Earth. Also lost the best defensive line coach on Earth and the best strength and conditioning coach on Earth.

People should expect a drop off this season, considering Alabama is having to replace three of the best football coaches to ever walk God's green Earth this year.

This is the most blatant straw man response that I've seen in years...and this is the RANT, for God's sake.
