Pretty fricking big "disparity".

See: level of competition, and also the fact that we shut the offense down for basically a whole half against UGA, and we practiced passing against LaMo. Sorry we aren't padding our stats.

LSU had 183 total yards rushing last year on 56 carries in 4 quarters plus overtime. LF7had 79 yards on 21 carries and that was at home and Bama's front 7 is significantly better in 2015. So yeah, good luck with that without a real passing game.

Exactly. EXACTLY. They tried this "power running game" against us last year with VERY LITTLE SUCCESS. Will be the same this year.

No. Bama is the best 1-loss team in the history of football, and Fournette is nothing special. Plus, LSU's OL is average because of the competition.

Level of competition? Ill give you the UGA game but Ole Miss is not that good. Other than that y'all haven't played a soul.

Georgia had a decent ypc so yes its possible.

If you are basing your analysis on Georgia's final numbers, you are making a big mistake.

Chubb got 83 yards on the last play of the third quarter when the score was 38-3, the game had long since been decided, and the game was already in trash time mode.

For the rest of the game, he had 63 yards on 19 carries - a 3.3 ypc average.

Georgia utterly and completely failed to run on Bama when it mattered.

LSU is better, so they may have more success but Georgia sure isn't the performance you want to mimic.

We'll play. You won't be happy. Start planning the excuses.

Sure, why not? Our RBs averaged 6.8 yds/carry against them.

Um, I mean...not really. You actually got most of your decent runs in garbage time down by 3 touchdowns or more in obvious passing situations. They shut you the frick down in the first quarter while you were still in the game...

If the QB can run effectively, I think LSU can make 150 yards.

I do not think anyone can line up with 2 TEs and a FB and just run between the tackles against Bama.

A mobile QB is necessary to have a good chance to move the ball against them.

little early for either team to be worrying about the other ...

Excuses are like assholes
I won't be making any buddy.
Y'all got two pretty good match ups between now and then. It wouldn't surprise me a lick to see ol Nicky slip up and lose one of them.
We'll see how it shakes out come November 7th.

Cupcakes away my good man. Hope runs eternal, but it's a short lived strategy. I wish you all the best in that regard. Hang on to it.

it seems like neither fanbase is overly confident they can beat the other, which is weird for this series. I know I have no confidence at all that we can beat Alabama at the moment. Still time between now and then though.

it depends on qb play, as always ... both teams are good enough at rb, oline, dline, and defense in general ... if harris can make some plays with his feet or arm, lf can get an easy 150 rather than a hard 150 ... if coker can do the same, henry & co can make hay ...

course, if bama turns it over 5 times, lf could have 100 yards and lsu wins by 35 (they ain't no ole miss, you know) ...

You are stupid as hell. Lsu has played really well considering. Lsu played they're first game against miss at... Keep in mind....(First game) alabam has the worse secondary on the SEC besides South Carolina. Lsu defense will only get better. And btw... There is no defense that will be able to keep Lf under 150... Can anyone keep him under 200 should be the question

Bama didn't put up any staggering offensive numbers in that game either.

You realize when you score a ST touchdown and score on a Pick 6 that you give up 2 possessions that your offense cannot accrue statistics?
