We don't have to be better. LSU has been better at every position for the last 3 years and it has yielded 11 losses, 11. Good enough will be enough.

Talk about avoiding a direct question.

Statistically we're almost identical. But ok.

Your front 7 may be in the neighborhood of 2011, but your secondary isn't on the same continent.

Bama will do it with 7. Occasionally 8. But mostly just 7.

I really hope the Bama coaching staff thinks like you too

Unfortunately, I doubt they do

You just beat an overrated Georgia team as will be seen in the next few weeks. It will be closer than you think.

UGA also gifted Bama 4 turnovers. Don't look for that to happen against LSU. Bama didn't put up any staggering offensive numbers in that game either.
I'm not saying LSU will win but I damn sure ain't betting on them to lose.

Wait... you think Henry and Bama's OL are better than Fournette and LSU's OL because of PFF? Seriously?

I don't think that the disparity is as big as you think...

As Bugga McFarlan said on Finebaum today, LSU ran on them last yr with a QB worse than it has today, plus LSU's OL is a lot better than last year's. And then he added that CLM knows how to play bama. ( note: he didnot say win for those negatigers.)

No one will consistently run on Bama this year. You Bama haters need to get that thru your thick heads. It's just not gonna happen. A 100 yard game by ANY running back against Bama this year is a small miracle. Our front 7 is the best in America.

I could see Bama holding Fournette two 130 "normal" yards. The challenge is stopping those 2 or 3 50+ yard plays that he has a habit of ripping off. He has more homerun capability than any other back in college right now. The question on defense is, can Bama keep him from hitting any for an entire game? We shall see.

He won't hit 2-3 50+ yard runs on this defense. He may hit one, and that would be included in my 130 yard projection for him. Chubb who is only a half notch below LF7 didn't do jack crap against Bama's D other than the one long run after it was 38-3 and our defense took a play off. LSU will have to develop a passing game and throw for around 200 yards without turnovers to beat Bama. A run team alone without a passing game has ZERO chance against this NFL front 7, and I'll be glad to back that up with a sig bet or ban bet.

I don't think the disparity is that big either, especially at OL. But it's funny this guy thinks because he's an expert on "statistical analysis" he throws out Adjusted Line Yards in the context of these two variables. Come on man, Henry is probably a Top 5 RB and Fournette is the Heisman winner. OL is maybe a tossup, both are awesome with elite prospects at multiple positions.

Bama is avg 199 a game
LSU is avg 334 a game
Pretty fricking big "disparity".

LSU fans have alot of big ideas lol. They forget that Saban doesn't allow running against his defense. Never has.

Next, LSU ran the ball 60 times last year with Fournette and others. Over and over he banged into our front 7 with little success. While Fournette is improved this year, so is our front 7.

Get real. Bama will win for the 5th time in a row.
