I think PJ Fleck is the sleeper candidate that people are missing.

No coach in his right mind would take the LSU job....all they have to do is look at Miles's record and think......shite, that's going to be tough to beat...and they got rid of him?

Believe it or not, coaches (you know, the guys that get paid millions of dollars to know the game of football inside and out) can see right passed records. It's no secret that LSU has underperformed that last 5 years. Fans see it, coaches see it, players see it, the media sees it.

Herman ain't going any damn where unless it is to take over for Meyer at Ohio State. He already knows the culture up there, he'd be reveled as the big man on campus and Urbs wants to get one more ring to ride out in the sunset. Book it.

Jimbo, flash in the pan? He has developed good QBs at FSU. He beat Clemson with Playboy on the sidelines, Maguire. FSU got whoppeddd by the Ville, but it was not due to Jimbo and QB play. I think Francois has big games ahead of him, and Jimbo knows it.

I will tell you what is funny as hell. 5 pages of dumbasses scared half do death of the idea that he MAY come to LSU. If he does he will cut into Saban's win record against LSU and I say that with a ton of respect to Nick. You opposing fans better pray he doesn't come. Lol

Wont change this yr. How would it look to everyone with half of Baton Rouge's family's possessions sitting on the side of the road from the floods and LSU pays out 20+ mil to fix its coaching problems?

One of the dumbest statements I've read ever on this board. What would happen if LSU games began to not see the attendance or tailgating because Les sucks a donkey's dick? These games are great tax revenue for the local community and if they start to dwindle down you lose a lot more than 20mil. Think before you post.

I don't think Herman is leaving Houston anytime soon and certainly not this year.

Not that LSU isn't a good job , I'm sure it is.

He just doesn't seem like a jump job to job guy.

LSU as prestigious as Texas? Mmmmmmm, not sure bout that one.
Step up from Houston probably but Texas is a blue blood program. Houston had its moments over the years. Bill yeoman had them a national power. It can be done there. Just have to have the right guy. If u don't it falls off quicker than some....for whatever reason

I'm not sure with a big 12 invite he would leave anyway. LSU is comparable to auburn as far as prestige, ceiling and national attention. If he wants to leave Houston and USC or Texas call LSU will not have a shot.

LSU is a good program but it's not USC or Texas.

If something happens to miles, fedora, narduzzi, maybe Dan Mullen would be more realistic choices (that is if USC or Texas are open). Possibly the dude at Washington should get a look but I think he's a Pacific northwest guy. Someone who should be looked at as well is Stanford's coach.

The only shot they have is because of Arranda. Herman played QB at Cal Lutheran the same time Arranda was DC at the school
