Does LSU have a shot at Herman? I say yes, here's why.

First, Les' days are numbered. I think we all realize this. If Les can't pull a natty out of his arse, at the least an SEC Championship, he's gone.

I think LSU has the best shot at Herman.

Everyone thinks Herman's end game is UT, what if it's a school just as prestigious that can recruit Texas like he wants?

LSU fits that bill.

I also think that the t-sips will be just good enough in that shitty B12 league to keep Strong around one more year.

Herman has some sort of bonus clause about UH getting into the Big 12, buy out that bonus and pay him and I think LSU can get him.

It's probably time to cut bait and switch, and I don't see any other coach worth doing it other than Herman.

Good luck LSU.

They're the current leader in my book.

Auburn is a coaching graveyard.

Texas is gonna keep Charlie.

LSU lock.
Team vote.

All this sounds great, but the State of Louisiana is basically insolvent.

5 Million is that "sort of" bonus clause. 5 Million to get U. Houston into The Blah 10.

Yes, obviously LSU can afford this. (He'll probably want 6 on principle. No biggie).

Surely a school like LSU can swing a $5 mil bonus plus the buyout.

Should be a piece of cake.

TAF baby!

I guess Aggy fans are too dumb to understand the concept of private funds that are not tied to the university nor the state

They'll jump at anything regarding LSU no matter how idiotic they look

No one GAF with respect to your analysis of another team's booster funds.

Im not a Houston fan, but that have already doubled his pay from last yr and said it was just the beginning as they want to keep him in Houston for many years to come. Noone is going to take him easily I can assure you.

It's ultimately up to Herman. Same contract on the table (I'm assuming it will be close to best salary for HC), LSU is the better program with a better track record at recruiting Louisiana's and SE Texas' best talent.

If Houston doesn't get into BIG12, the choice is a no-brainer
