I’m just glad we might have a good game and the best teams are playing ...
Another reason is that they’re 3 all time in NFL draft picks behind USC and Norte Dame an first all time in first round draft picks so lots of talent....

Bret Vulnerables

Clemson’s last two CFP performances makes it clear that his defense feasts on typical college level QB skill level and intimidation. Stuff the line, stop the run and swarm the QB into a panic and throw in a lot of late play clock alignment readjustments. A QB that can take the top off and a p...

Not a pro coach. You don’t work to team into a frenzy with a locker room fire brand pep speech before big games. Player talent level has greater parity due the salary cap also. Not sure his Schemes work either. One benefit is you don’t need to win every game. ...

Very interesting that the Feds blow up the apparel company pay to play scam and low and behold we’ve got elite teams struggling and parity in college hoops. Wonder why?...

Don’t blame her or any Norte Dame fan for this reaction. They love their team but have eyes and know they must now endure national prime time humiliation. ...

Well roses are red and red is part of the old derogatory monicker of the Washington Football Club ...
NFL was very uncreative back in the ‘70’s and the small all purpose back which is so popular now wasn’t a schematic. It was power football with a two back set. Today he’d be a hell of a weapon in a hybrid run pass combination roll....
College football has never been like that when selecting its national champion and if someone tells you otherwise, they are lying.
Completely agree and thought about that BUT back when it was the AP or even the BCS football didn’t revolve around the mythical national championship....

CFP committee and “best” vs deserving

Posted by Dogfish on 12/15/20 at 5:35 am
Best is in quotes because it’s conjecture. An opinion based on the eyeball test made by humans with their own notions and biases. Sports used to be an oasis of objectivity. Winners and losers decided on the field. It has now been sucked into the subjective. Mulligans and second chances for prefer...

I don’t care about deserving. This year is just an anomaly and I simply want entertainment on January 1st. I don’t’ want conference rematches like ND Clemson III Give me USC in the Rose Bowl vs Bama with all that historic pageantry. Or vs OSU which was a classic rivalry or ND for that matter....
Not sure why you would care. Bama is in the drivers seat. I’d be happy to settle it on the field whoever the committee picks...
