we forced 3 punts and a turnover on downs. the last punt was invalidated due to a penalty on the play, but the punt was forced. we only punted 4 times the whole game. Also, A&M only missed 1 field goal of 51 yards, not 2 as some have said.

Semantics gonna semantic. Bama came out playing terrible football and gave up 21 right out of the gate. My pa once told me that the best way to win a fist fight is to punch that sonofabitch as hard as you can, square in the face, first.

no. they hit a 29 yarder in the 4th quarter. they missed 1 later in the 4th. its listed as a 37 yarder in the play by play, as a 51 yarder in the drive chart. they only attempted 2 field goals in the game, missed 1

It wasn't the "giving up" the three early TDs as much as the lack of offense the first three series. Won the toss, took the ball and then screwed the pooch. Still should have won but didn't and that's part of it.

Does LSU beat A&M if LA Tech doesn't cancel the opener eliminating A&M's bye week? The answer is who knows. Some fans need to cool it on the moral victory parade. Alabama beat LSU, LSU beat A&M and A&M beat Bama... Deal with it.

Check the stats brah. LSU won virtually every statistic except the final score. No I won't say we "dominated" or that it was the "prevent d".
But LSU was the better team. D went full retard on that last drive. Bama played the full game, never quitting. Props on that. But LSU was the better team that night.

and bama went full retard on playcalling at the half. our 1st four drives of the 2nd half we went 3 and out because we were calling 2 passes and 1 run and getting incompletions. while the team was rushing for 7ypc, we only had 22 rushes for the whole game from our runningbacks. we could have rushed for 300 on you or forced you to change how you were defending the pass, but instead we gave you the ball for almost the entire 2nd half, and you still couldn't win. you had the ball for 40 out of 60 minutes, with your qb playing the best game of his season, and you failed. because you are failures.
