UF would have then had film on JFF. No first half success for JFF then.
Go back and watch Kliff Kingsbury's Heisman PC. He said emphatically how much he regrets not opening the playbook against UF.
He also said he had no idea what he had until after the UF game -- he never allowed JFF to do JFF things in practice.
Maybe playing La. Tech early (rather, when scheduled) would have shed light on JFF's abilities -- thus compelling KK to be more liberal in his play-calling against UF.

Then Matt Elam would have a few more INTs.

Nah. JFF would have just bitch slapped the bama D back down the field and it wouldn't have mattered.
Are you dense? Stupid? Both?
A&M only scored one touchdown in the second half. Defense adjusted well but our offense could not get it done against A&Ms defense.
I really credit A&Ms defense with the win that day. They played out of their minds

So you're saying JFF wouldn't have thrown a pic until the 6th game of the season if he faced Matt Elam in his second -- not first -- game.

The better question -- does AM win if Alabama doesn't turn the ball over 3 times.

They had 4 plays to get 6 yards. Lacy was averaging 5+ ypc on the night.

Poor LSU fans trying to live vicariously through us

Possibly, but the option and zone reads really didn't appear until Auburn and Miss State. All I know is that A&M has two or three more years with Johnny Football, and I know Johnny will win the SEC one of those years. The last time the SEC Champ didn't play for the National Title was when Johnny Football was in middle school. I'm happy with the future.

A&M will beat Bama AND LSU next year on the way to winning the SEC West - bookmark it.

I would honestly be more surprised if we DIDN'T win the SEC before JFF graduates

Nah, we will never be a little brother like yall have been for 30 years. We aren't avoiding UT like yall either. I was just asking a question.

Seeing how he played against fast defenses with two of the best O-Linemen in the country and still losing 2 games you would be surprised? I wouldn't be surprised if yall lost 4 or won it all while he was the QB. He is great but yall had other components this year that might not be there next year.

Good question, maybe not. TAM seemed to tire a little in the second half.
Does Manziel win the Heisman Trophy if TAM still played in the Big-12?

You'll more than likely be surprised then.

Better question, does tamu win nc (assuming we'd play Norte dame) if in big 12

The more compelling question is how many more times LSU fans will make this exact thread between now and next season.
