No. Don't get me wrong A&M is a very good team, but it as obvious that half of the team didn't get up for the game.

I agree. Just look at how much easier bama was getting tackled compared to the week before. That is not characteristic of Sabans teams, but it almost seemed like wind would blow over the ball carrier against the aggs. This wouldn't have happened of bama didn't play LSU the week before.

I never judge a HC by their 1st season with a team, good or bad. A lot of what goes on that season is because of the previous staff. A&M has recruited pretty well recently, they were just mentally fricked last season. Sumlin came in & gave them a positive attitude. The question is, will it last? Plenty of examples of when a new HC took over a team that had talent but was mentally fricked, and the team won big the first year, only to falter later. We shall see what happens next year. Saban was 7-6 his 1st season, losing the last 4 Regular Season games, including losses to UL-M & MSmoo. I knew we would get better.

The easiest team to coach is the underdog (re:Pat Dye), toughest is the favored (re:Pat Dye).

Dye's team his last season was mentally fricked. In steps Tater Tot Bowden and changes their attitude and they reel off 20 straight wins. The players were there, they just needed an attitude adjustment. But the real Bowden eventually came thru. Same with Chizik. Inherited a mentally fricked team that was fundamentally sound, good players, but were mentally fricked. Won the NC in year 2, fired in year 4 after going 3-9 & 0-7.

No. Let's be realistic. Bama was 2 yards from winning that game.
Doesn't matter now because Bama got back to the championship game where they belong.

LaBorne.."Rout in College Station?"
What game were you at/ watching..That game EASILY goes either way.

Don't do it, brother. Don't ask this question. The answers frustrate rational thought. It's rather painful.

I question your grasp on reality most of the time.

Absolutely not, and deep down they know it. But they're not important enough to argue about it with, so it's easier to just let them brag and roll our eyes knowing our team is better.

That is a much better question. A&M was going to spank Bama during the second half of the season no matter what. A&M was playing better than any team in the country down the stretch. So, answer to the LSU question is probably, though it would be close. LSU had a better secondary and pass rush than bama this year.
You are such a fricking idiot. Knowing how miserable you must be after Aubarn's abortion of a season literally brings me joy.

The big question in my mind is what will Sumlin do now? Kingsbury learned from Leach & Holgo. Sumlin had Holgo at Houston, and KK in College Station.
Whose the next guy grooming that QB position for Sumlin? His entire career as a HC, he's either had Holgo or KK. It'll be interesting to see who else is in the pipeline.
Is Graham Harrell still a 3rd stringer in Green Bay or in the CFL?

We'll never know... but I do know that LSU was playing to win and battered us pretty badly. As to whether it made any difference in how we responded to A&M's 1st Quarter onslaught, who can say. We answered the challange but it was too-little-too-late. I know I'm looking forward to playing them next year!

Not saying that A&M is a shoe-in for a conference title, but with our momentum and sick recruting class, my a-hole would be a tad puckered if I were LSU or Bama.

No, the real question is does aTm stand a chance at any time in the season in Death Valley. Rude awakening...

Correct - except it will be the Swamp Kitties who are in for the rude awakening...
