I realize you are used to ESPN ignoring Ms State, but I don't see what you say anywhere in my comments.

Really? When was the last national championship Miami won?

The real question is, why continue making these documentaries when Nebraska had a better dynasty in the same time frame that wasn't exclusively the result of cheating?

I have yet to see the second one but I would think it'd be pretty funny that they had two movies about the fall of Miami football and not one mentioned the 93 Sugar Bowl. It'd be like telling a story about Alabama's current run and not mentioning Kick 6.

It doesn't need to be focused on, but to avoide discussing it is kind of silly.

That game ended both dynasties

Not really... Bama was solid through Stallings' tenure. We were one play away from playing for another National Championship in 1994, and won the West again in 1996.

A documentary about Miami gets a lot more viewers than a documentary about Nebraska. Controversy is interesting.

The Miami dynasty might be the greatest of all time.

Those teams were sick.

They didn't give a frick, and beat the shite out of everybody.

because that would be boring.

They make these U documentaries not just to showcase how great a team is, they made them because it had outlaws running the team, money scandals, former athletes paying current players, rogue boosters funneling tons of illegally gotten funds to the program, etc. That's entertaining. Watching a documentary about corn fed white boys in Nebraska beating up on people would be lame.

And won the SEC again in 1999. Would have won the west in 2002 if we were eligible.

Dynasties like UM and Bama are judged on National titles. Winning the SEC west is like a Millionaire finding a dollar

They only mention losses that support the narrative. I.e. Miami loses to Penn State, but we were still cool because we wore army fatigues, or Miami loses to Notre Dame because we got cheated, or Miami loses to BYU because Dennis Erickson had no control over the players.

The beat down at the hands of Bama does not support the narrative that Miami was this unstoppable force but for these aberrations.

In the first one it exclusively talks about the positive. Any negatives are written off as "everybody was doing it," "they hated us because we were black," etc. The new one I thought was interesting. But that first one should have been exclusively for Miami fans.

Miami also won their conference in 94, 95, 96 I am just saying it sounds funny for Bama to say, "they ended Miami" when UM won a national title again before Bama did after that game

I know you must get that the story is not about Bama. I know, it pisses you off that not every story on TV about CFB is about Bama, but don't watch if you can't get past it...

They also don't mention the Sugar Vols 35-7 beatdown in 1985 which prevented them from winning another national title.

They made it a very clear point to mention LSUs arse kicking of Miami. You know that rustled some crimson jimmies. Why? I have no idea. They are about to play in a playoff game and they are pissed because Bama wasnt mentioned in a Mimi documentary

1994 was the only one of those years in which they won the conference outright and didn't share a title. In 1995 and 1996, they were not the Big East Bowl Alliance rep.
