Gus Malzahn has been the most successful, by far, but he needs to get off tDecline.

One of the coaches who has shown he can improve his team rather than running it into the ground.

The coach your talking about has also proven he can't win the big game.

I will take Bert. Easily the best of the three.

Tough question. Butch is the best recruiter, but he hasn't won any big games, uses bush league gimmicks, and has had several ugly, albeit unsubstantiated, controversies. Gus had one Cinderella season but Auburn's gotten worse the longer he's been there. It seems impossible to predict how Bert's team will play week-to-week - will it be the team that hosed LSU or the one that lost to Toledo?
I'll say Bert, because I like the smashmouth offense.

What coach could survive a 7-5 or a 6-6 season?

Every HC in Ole Miss football history

Bert is the best of the 3 (fairly easily), but he's hampered by how tough the west is and how far Arkansas trail Auburn, Alabama, and LSU in regards to recruiting (Ole Miss as well but their success isn't sustainable). I'd take him at UT if Butch ever left / was fired

One has a team in his fourth year ready to compete for a SEC Championship. The other two do not.

Based on? The paper thin loss to Alabama last year? Vegas says otherwise.

Looking at those records, none look to be great hires.
