Just like they put together a plan for your beloved Cornhuskers?
Nebraska lost AAU status on account of Michigan and Wisconsin.

Yeah, it's the third time you've mentioned it and nobody here gives a flying frick about OU, the Nubs or the B1G.

Yea it's pretty cringey watching him try and hype up the addition of a midwestern dustbowl school like OU

Oklahoma is a western state that turns to desert about halfway through. I guess we already have one of those, but one is enough.

If a school president at a place like Oklahoma wants out, they will get out well before 2024 regardless of the GOR. We are talking about a school president, not a conference president trying to poach.
I don't care if we are talking about the President of the United States. GORs are VERY solid legal documents and the one OU is tied to is worth over $200 million. They can't even afford to dump $200 million into their facilities, no way they spend it to buy out a GOR. You need to stop acting like you know what you are talking about when it comes to realignment stuff.

No, for three reasons.
1. Not enough population (TV's).
2. okie lite and ou are a package deal only. Per T-Boone and the OK legislature.
3. Cowherd is all mouth and not credible.

When NU entered the B1G they were AAU, now they are not. The process to lose that status takes a while, so all the other B1G programs (that are all AAU) knew they were getting the boot from the AAU before they joined the B1G. Rather than fight against it (to help B1G prestige) schools like Wisconsin fully supported them getting forced out. They put the AAU organization before the B1G because unfortunately their priorities are correct.

I don't see this happening.

They got kicked out of the AAU before joining the B10 actually.

Baylor to the west. Auburn to the east

They were AAU when they were accepted, but not the day they officially joined. That is correct. Hence the Wincy priorities comment.
Funny thing is I have seen Delay actually brag about that. I wish I could find the quote, but when the last two joined he made a big deal about how everyone was AAU on entry. Like that matters now that NU isnt.

Cowherd is an unbelievable count OU thinks they somehow deserve to be in a top tier conference despite the fact that they don't have the national following, local talent, or academic chops to earn it the right way. They leach talent from the state of Texas and A&M specifically. frick 'em.
They are far more of a historic football powerhouse than Aggie and you know it. You are just concerned that if they are added to the SEC, recruits will stray away from College Station and wind up in Norman just like they did when you were in the SWC and BIG XII.

GD! Can the Southeastern Conference actually mean teams from the south east?
Posted on 6/30/15 at 7:26 pm to MontyFranklyn
Cowherd is picking up on the media campaign to drum up support for changing the landscape. Texas and OU hate being in the BDF now, realize they lost re-alignment, and are desperate to create some kind of change. In the past week, we have heard the following:
- Add 2 new teams, per OU prez Boren
- petition for a Conference championship with 10 teams per Bowlsby
- now Chip Brown is suggesting the BDF merge with the SEC
They are grasping at straws. If there were any real legs to OU getting into a new conference, they would be doing it on the down low.
