Cowherd is an unbelievable count

OU thinks they somehow deserve to be in a top tier conference despite the fact that they don't have the national following, local talent, or academic chops to earn it the right way. They leach talent from the state of Texas and A&M specifically. frick 'em.

Would be a huge coup if we could do it, pulling a truly nationally acclaimed program out of another conference.

Has anyone else done that? I guess B10/Nebraska arguably but they're on the decline.

Meh, the B12 stabilized, if anything they're going to add additional teams.

The SEC is big enough, it's already been watered down enough.

A conference with 16+ teams isn't a conference anymore, nobody would barely even play each other regularly.

Oklahoma wants the B1G. Their school president wants AAU status.

Colin is just throwing shite to the wall to get ratings during the dead summer.

Their school president isn't looking to expand. He is forcing the hands of certain people. That is why he went public. He wants AAU status. Oklahoma will be heading to the B1G.

Oklahoma does not bring enough TV-watching asses and revenue to offset the cost of their addition, IMO. The SEC needs to expand its TV footprint with any additional expansion - which means that NC and VA are next, if at all.
