When Oklahoma leaves for the B1G, Baylor and Oklahoma State and Kansas State will be looking for a home.

Texas will be Pac 12 bound.

Yep, that's all talk radio for ya, particularly sports talk radio. You got a lot of air time to fill and not much actual substance to fill it with, so sensationalistic non-sense is what they go with.

Poorer cultural fits than even Mizzou, and the expanded footprint is negligible. Only way I see that happening is if the SEC gets played by more promising prospects and are forced to take someone for the sake of getting to 16.

Agreed. Poor culture fits, especially with Baylor academics. I could see Baylor heading to the Pac 12 with Texas.

Kind of have to agree. I would rather not give a power-house school the ability to poach southern recruits more easily...

Nobody cares what Cowturd thinks. Unless there is a major change in the thinking of the admins @ OU they will head to the PAC with Texas, TTU, and Okie State in 2024.

Oklahoma heading to the B1G would be amazing, since you can have games....

Oklahoma vs Nebraska - bring back the rivalry.

Oklahoma vs Michigan

Oklahoma vs Ohio State

Oklahoma vs Penn State

If a school president at a place like Oklahoma wants out, they will get out well before 2024 regardless of the GOR. We are talking about a school president, not a conference president trying to poach.

Oklahoma would be dumb to head to the Pac if the SEC came calling, especially if we took lil bro as well

That means Oklahoma won't be going to the SEC.

Oklahoma said no to the SEC during the last round of conference expansion.

Oklahoma's president wants AAU status. That is well known by people in the academic world and he has been working towards it. He wants the B1G so he can continue to get AAU status.

He isn't getting AAU status with a move to the SEC.

OU academics are a joke. No way in hell they get AAU status anytime soon.

I'm not explicitly doubting you, but I'd like a source for that if you have it.

The B1G would put together a plan for them to get AAU status.

The B1G vetted Oklahoma, Kansas and Vandy the last time conferences expanded.

I would absolutely not be thrilled about them joining the SEC. They're like Bama but with less championships. It'd be miserable watching away games. If they do join, the SEC needs to go to 4 regions within the conference bc going out to Norman every other year will fricking blow.

Would not make business sense to take them at all, even without them

Also, Houston has also been vetted by the B1G and wouldn't be surprised if Houston is the move (aka invite) to get Texas footprint into the B1G, which is NOT what the SEC wants.
