Would rather a couple ACC schools. FSU, Miami, VT, UVA, NC.

Really? We're just gonna all ignore this?

(Unless, of course, the OP meant that Cowherd said that the Big 12 was going to spread out, which I doubt is what was said...)

I don't see any problem with Big 12 other than West Virginia probably would prefer to play more local teams. Baylor and TCU are rising programs, along with Texas, Kansas State, the Oklhoama colleges, and occasional good year from Texas Tech and the others, make it a strong conference.

you might be able to poach one or both of the florida schools but can't see any ACC school outside of the state of Florida heading to SEC.

the NC and Virginia schools like being in same conference

This is Oklahoma creating smoke. The SEC should (and, I think, will) wait for NC and Va school.

ND should go all in on the acc and WVU should join them to make it 16. Big 12 should add byu,Boise and air force 2 of those 3 have built in national followings and Boise is a known name

Also, Houston has also been vetted by the B1G and wouldn't be surprised if Houston is the move (aka invite) to get Texas footprint into the B1G, which is NOT what the SEC wants.

lol, ok, come on man. You can't jump the shark this early.

Actually, the B1G is going to take Ap state and UTEP as a matched set. It's a done deal man, bet the house.

Oklahoma said no to the SEC during the last round of conference expansion.

Anybody who even half paid attention knows this is bullshite. OU was looking to get out of the Big 12 after A&M and Mizzou bolted. It was Boren's comments as much that caused Baylor to crawfish on the promise not to sue. If they had been able to find a home in the PAC or the SEC, they would have been gone. Neither conference wanted them. PAC would have taken them with Texas, but wouldn't take Texas with the LHN. OU got stuck.

Just read this thread and nebraskafaninwi has finally went full gump.

This is the worst, most illogical, most inaccurate, most ridiculous string of replies to ever grace a thread here. That I've seen, anyway.

The power teams in the SEC are not going to let an elite program like OU in, period. If the SEC is foolish enough to make this conference even larger, they'll go after mid-level teams from big population states, like VT, NC, NCST, etc

The mere fact that idiots don't know Oklahoma already rejected the SEC show show little people around here know.
